Subject: Sorry Roger I'll try
But I just found out thanks to Obama care I will be possibly losing my Carelink medical financial assistance program. It’s what’s paid for my brain and shoulder surgeries. Since it’s a non-insurance type program, thanks to Obama’s ‘care’ plan for everyone in the US to have some type of medical insurance. The Carelink program may be forced to close down. Then the only thing left for me is Medicare due to my disability and that’s another total pain in the ass.
Always something else rt  However I will try to post my Q/A actions by the weekend.

Subject: Yes I have a CHL(Concealed Handgun Lic)
He didn't take them off the men who fought beside him to defend his ship, nor from enemies he had killed. Now that is a moral/alignment/personal choice but it seems icky to me. Though your referring to Asher in that statement is in reference to me you make it sound like I'm robbing the dead Roger, far from it.
First reason I'm taking them: In the story they carried pistols as you so vividly pointed out I'm better with pistols.
Second Reason: They fought beside me I want something to remember them by the best way to do that is to keep, carry and use them. Wolf would rather keep the handguns in his room or on his hip instead of seeing them get thrown in an evidence locker somewhere.
Plus so far in the game where have I had the opportunity to brawl or knife fight never. As far as using my pistols other then the mines and a few other times. When facing a heavier armed force with superior numbers, armor and assault rifles, its good to have as much firepower of your own. Survival 101
I'm still taking the pistols from Hack/Slash.

Subject: Ok so bad idea
In that case I'll only take Hack/Slashes firearms and remaining ammo and leave the rest alone. Oh I thought you gave it to me Ody before this fight started if not then no biggie. However seeing as I'm not picking the AR's up any longer no big deal .
As for trying to upgrade the Roc's inventory of weapons why does me being the mechanic have anything to do with that? Just because my main job is fixing the ship does not mean I do not have a love of guns just as much as Asher does.
I own 4 guns now in RL and love each of them and go shoot them twice a month. So again I ask what's the difference between Asher and Wolf other then 'jobs'

Ok I don't have time at the moment to get a post. However if I can't get one in before you do Roger Wolf is going to gather 3 of the Merc's assault rifles and 4-5 clips for each rifle. I'll also look at Hack N Slash's handguns to see if they are worth while keeping. All this I will hide in Asher's secret Gun Locker. Come to think on it if I can I'll take that big handgun from the merc boss I killed.

As Crow watched the groups failure to communicate with the Lizard Slaa’ker he listened also to the talk of which way next.
"Well, I think that was enough excitement for now." Alondas said as the lizard man who woke was put back to sleep. "I don't see anything to gain from them so perhaps it is best to move along to the next room. Seems the rooms do lead to the same place each time. Perhaps it is time to try a previously unexplored portal this time?"
Dudley agreed about leaving the lizard men and moving along quickly, however he was of a different opinion the Alondas as to what the next portal would be. "If we follow our last path the next room is the fight room. Luckily we know that and won't be surprised by an attack. Then it's a nice bath and then a warm meal....Oh that part sound good." Dudley made for the stairs to the portal of the war room.
“Hold Dudley. Taking the same portal twice helps us not at all. We wish to leave this damn maze not to go in circles. I agree with Alondas that a new portal is best. So East or South, I vote East. As to these lizards I say we make sure we have striped all weapons and we take those weapons with us to the next room. We confirm they are unconscious before we decide which portal to take and right before we leave we loosen ones bond so they do not die tied up. Any other suggestions?”.........

“So you knew Jon in the war huh, so what was he really like. I never really knew him though I was part of his unit, never was allowed too close to his ‘inner circle’.”
“Honestly, we really only had the one night and that was all. I wasn’t part of his unit and we just ... well we had a night. When I came abroad and saw him I thought it was a pure stroke of luck and things would be easy but you know the war changed us all. Back then, during that evening we had, he seem strong but venerable and more than a little human. “Asante sighed heavily and JC noticed the flirty mannerisms were gone now. She went on to say, “I meant what I said JC, you are walking into a death trap. The Baron and Templeton have a plan and an agreement between them and they won’t care about collateral damages. They can afford to find a deep hole to put the bodies in and when that happens, you will wish you listened to me.”
“Yeah I hear you, but Destiny’s his ship and we are his crew, so agree or not he has the last word. I tell you this, Asante, if things really go bad for us at least you warned us so thank you at least for that.” Taking her hand JC gave it a tender squeeze. “So ahh want to get changed before we go back to the cafeteria?”
(AL I’ll let you fill in what happens in this time frame, if anything, between them)
An hour later the General comm link opened up across the ship and Grace’s cold and determined voice broadcasted, “If all members of the crew could come to the gallery, I got the info we need. And I mean crew only, guests can stay where they are and stay away from the gallery.”
As JC and Asante entered the cafeteria so to did Gracie, the mechanic appeared with printed papers and a dark look in her eyes. Grace groaned under her breath, muttering as she saw Lilianna, the brothers, and Seth had also arrived in the Galley.
“I had a reason for wanting to talk without the guests”
“I know dear.” Stephanie said as she started to rearrange some medical kit, checking a few vials in the light, “But how about you, JC, Catie and Angela go to the Cockpit to talk and I will watch our guests. I am sure that no one will give me any trouble now, will they?”
As JC turned to follow the rest of the crew, he reached out to give Asante a comforting squeeze on her arm. As he did so in his mind the thought ran Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.
“If anyone has got a good excuse why they should go on the ship or if any names look familiar among the passengers, now is the time to be mentioning it.”
“Well as I told Jon, we may be in luck as I know someone on that Liner, gal named Annie Foy. Younger sister of some good friends back in my youth. If she still remembers me might be a way onto the ship or inside help once we get on. Now you said a med emergency to possibly get on it, what about a malfunction cyber arm? We make it look all bloody and life threaten, they let me, the Doc, and maybe Angela pretending to be my girlfriend, on board. While the Doc ‘works’ on me somehow Angela finds Annie and brings her to the sick bay for a reunion and talk? ”
JC waited for the thoughts of the others............

Welcome to the Red dragon
Let me be another of the InnMates to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn. Also as Odyson said above a good place to start here is “Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies.”. Which itself was written by an Inn member to help new people just like you figure out how to navigate the halls of the Inn.
The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.
So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here.
Also here’s a towel, though he has not been doing so a lot lately, always keep it handy as Eol likes to lick newcomers and he sometimes forgets who he has licked and then licks them again.

Ok Ladies and Gents of the Inn once again Football season is only 3 weekends away so once again I am going to run my Tann�s NFL U Pick�em Game. Soooo looking for as many people that want to play to sign up here and try their best at choosing each weeks winning teams. I hope last years winner, Hammer, and the other players from the 2013 Season return to play once again but I hope for new players too. We had a lot of fun last year so please come play.
Registration will be open till Mon Sept 1st as the 1st official game day and start of the 2014 NFL season is Thursday Sept 4th with a Packers vs. Seahawks game at 8:30pmET.

Crow looked at the Cidal Thief and realized the small one was correct. With a hint of an embarrassed blush crossing his face he began looking around but he saw that both Gamard and Dudley had already thought ahead. Using silk from the wine ninja’s shirt and leather from the Lizards pouches Gamard and Dudley were already making makeshift ties. Nodding to both in thank you he kept his defensive posture intact...................

As JC quietly watched Jon and the women Asante verbally duke it out he was already making plans.
”We are going to deliver Miss Lillianna safe and sound, but after that we’re available for other services, like ….well we’ll talk more in an hour…..JC why don’t you take Asante back to the gym…..Doctor let us know when Seth can contribute.”
Asante laughs and rolls her eyes, “Such naivety for a Captain. Well I will not argue with you Jon while your head is in the sand but when the time comes, you will know how to find me, and if you can’t find me then just whistle, you do know how to whistle don’t you?.” Looking over at him she smiled, “Shall we go back to the gym then?”
“Sure lets do that” Nodding his head to the Captain JC followed the ex-assassin? To the gym. Once there he started one of his plans.

(Will try to continue light conversation during the hour leaning toward being more attracted to her then I am. Tell of my days with the triad and so on that I am at this point not as happy being crew without actually saying it to maybe keep her off balance a little. Give her the wrong idea due to my false desire she may have an ally. If I see she's not buying into it I'll back off)
As they continued to ‘work out‘ but in all honesty the gym almost forgotten, the call came in one hour later to re-assemble in the cafeteria. With Lilianna looking scared and annoyed at the same time. Asante seemingly oddly calm and Seth sitting with a goofy smile on his face as he slowly starts to flex his arms and hands again. “How did you do that?” he asks Angela amazed, “You moved so fast and next thing I know, I was flat on the floor. Never saw it coming.”
As they went over the information Grace had found out about the Liner including, the passenger manifest, JC caught a well known name. Well, well known by the gunfighter at least.
Annie Foy, man was she a name from the past. Younger sister of one of his ex-girlfriends, Megan, sister of his best friend Ronnie Foy on Regina. About 4 years younger than JC she had become more like a kid sister, an annoying kid sister while he dated Megan, but afterwards one he watched out for. There had been 2-3 boyfriends, ok 5, with black eyes after a talk with JC over proper dating etiquette.
Later when Annie wanted to ‘become’ an singer, JC had paid her way because her parents couldn’t and Ronnie was already off planet. Though he’d never told her, he had, had to hock one of his favorite older pistols even back then fascinated with guns. She swore she'd pay him back when she got big and famous but then the war came and so many things changed...
He had up to seeing her name on the manifest actually forgotten about her but now seeing her name brought a rush of memories flooding back. After the gathering was once more done he pulled Jon aside.

I don't know how long the spell's gonna last."

As Crow waited with the rest of the group for Wembley’s return he could only hope that whatever these new creatures were they were not Shambling Mounds. The Syl Ranger had heard of these plant like creatures but never encountered one.
He was brought of his thinking by the Cidal’s return.
"It's a pack of Slaa'kar, You know... lizard men. Four of them. Pretty far from home, if you ask me, but who am I to judge, right? I'm pretty far from home too. Anyway, one of them is really, really mad, kicking things and breaking everything in its path. Maybe because he just wants to go home and does know how to get out... kinda like us too. Anyway, he's madder than a drenched fire elemental, if you know what I mean. And, they have the caretaker, the man in black. He looks pretty broken and beat up. Not sure if he's alive. If he is, I doubt he could walk away. Pretty vicious. It's strange. When Alon grabbed a bottle last time, the whole room went dark, but the lizards trash the place and the lights stay on. I wonder why... Anyway, you want to see it I can creep back and put the pack to sleep? I just learnt this great spell. A few gestures and words and it's rock-a-bye baby, nighty-night. What do you think?"
Slaa’kar, new creatures indeed Crow thought to himself. Once again like the Shambling Mound Crow had never encountered lizard men before. However unlike a Mound these would be hopefully easier to deal with. Nodding his head in agreement with the Cidal’s plan, he nonetheless remained ready in case the spell failed.

Subject: Low lvl Shambling Mound? LOL
Having once more moved through the South portal, once again they had entered the wine cellar. However the room since the party was last here had been ransacked with a smell lingering in the room like a swamp or rotting vegetation.
Up the stairwell directly across from the portal came the sound of grunts, guttural voices and bottles smashing. Whatever destroyed this room is up thee, smashing up the next room.
“Not the booze!” Ivan says ruefully. ”Like dudes, what did the booze do to you?”
Quickly turning to Ivan, Crow grabbed him up placing his hand across the cat's mouth. Whispering quickly Crow laid out a plan.
“Quit fool, dare you not risk our lives. Wembly you move better quiet then I, see if you can get a look at what is up those stairs. Mal you and I, both sides of the stairway.
Alôndas, Dudly, Gamard seek cover as best you can, be ready to support as needed.”
Placing Ivan back on the ground, a finger pressed to the Syl’s lips to hopefully keep the feline quiet. Crow moved to the left side of the stairway.

I added at the end of my post I was unsure. More or less I asked in character if the spellcasters were good on spells and if they needed a rest. Alacrity you have to remember, me have short term memory problems, and have a lot of Med stuff going on rt now so I forget.

Subject: A suggestion of caution
“Wembley please hold a moment and be not so hasty to access yet another portal. Perhaps it would be better for us to discuss what we have learned so far. In that time cast what healing is needed, and restore, again if it is needed, you and the others category of readied spells” Crow suggested as the Cidal Thief/Mage made ready to move through a new portal. Though not believing they needed such a rest it was always better to ask then assume. Crow had to admit though he had no time for mages, what good is a spell-caster without spells, in this twisted maze they could be the answer to getting out.
(Can't remember if we have already did this since we entered so thought I'd put it out there)
