Ok Have not done a movie review in a long time but I had to do it for this one. I may start posting reviews once more of past movies and of course future ones. (Anyone say Avengers 2  )
Man this movie is outrageous with some of the craziest stunts I have ever seen in one movie. The interaction between Vin Diesel and the rest of the cast is dead on. You can tell that over the course of the series that they are a very close group of friends. Bottom line I loved it and though I'm half/half on wanting a sequel without Paul Walker I'll still go to see furious 8 if it happens.
Warning if you have not seen the ending of the movie online somewhere be prepared to cry as even though I saw the ending on Vin Diesel FB page I still had tears in my eyes in the theatre they did Mr. Walker proud.
A quick note unless you really are looking hard you will not be able to tell the CGI from the real Paul. The graphics people took great care into weaving those parts into the film in such a way that, again, unless looking hard or of course at the end you'll be unable to tell.
I recommend go and see the film in the theatre as I don't think your TV screen will do it justice.

Of Trilogy, Yes. He last posted in my game on the 5th of this month and has not posted since even while I was sick. I have a phone call in to him now to let him know he has been dropped, just waiting on a call back.
As for the Putnum game I have no idea if he still plans to play or not he's been kinda reclusive lately.

As Maximus watched the Wererats burn he could not help thinking this had been too easy. After all the first time they had run these halls monsters most vile and much stronger had been their foes. These half-creatures were nothing compared to those earlier enemies.
Throwing his axes once more to eliminate the last of them he listened as Sparrow gave good advice and Arien agreed.
"Hold off on spells we may need later. We can finish the few survivors off in close combat."
"Agreed, They seem to be little threat to us. There is little use wasting resources we will surely need later. Be vigilant, in case there are other foes at the ready."
"Perhaps that is what this is, a means for however now controls this place to make us use as much of our advantage as possible." Max chimed in.
With nothing more to do then wait for Arien to move them forward, Maximus reholstered his axes and once more drew his swords............

Subject: My 2 cents, ok maybe just 1 cent kinda broke rt now
1) Let the game go - it fizzled. (I'd like to continue)
2) I NPC the 2 missing until the end, people stay or go and we start another adventure. (I have sent one a few feelers for players but I think most people want to play their own character) (Favorite choice so far)
3) We end this adventure with a narrative and move to new party, anyone wishing to stay can stay and start another. (Can we keep our present characters and what we have found or do we have to create a new character. I like the black sword )

What I normally do is ask once if they want to sit and continue the game. If they do, but after some time still continue the non-game activities I just pack up and leave for that session.
Though its rare that I failed to get their attention back on the game it has happened a time or two. Keeper and Kyle can tell you as witness's as they were players in my table top group the few times I did so.

Jon steps forward, "I'm Captain Brown." Motioning back to JC, "This is my security officer, JC Kane, I need you let you know he has a prosthetic arm that may set off your metal detectors. I don't want those little sweethearts up there making a mistake," Jon turned the brothers, "Our passengers would like to disembark, these men need to be cleared through security and my payload specialist need some help with Miss Lillianna's luggage. ,and yes we need to discuss Miss Lillianna's and your guest's safety and well being,.. Where can we talk?"
Baron Fairchild took in the Captain and the crew and the ship in a glance but Jon doubted he was looking at things with curiosity. "Captain Brown." He said slowly and smiled, "Captain Jon Brown. Jon Brown. That is a nice looking ship you have there. I don't much about ships but something about that one is, well, like looking a Black Bellerophon mare coming down a gangplank - you know there is a lot of goodness to be had." The baron shook Jon's hand and then moved to Seth, "Seth my boy! Good to see you. Good to see you." He gave the big bodyguard a arm clasp with warmth and then pulled a badge out of his pocket to hand to Seth, "This is for you, so you can carry your weapons onboard. Keyed to your DNA so the scanners know to let you through."
The Baron turned back to Jon and JC, "Now gentlemen. JC was it? You go over there to the security folk and show them your arm and I am sure they can make it right as rain,.. Captain, How about we take a walk away from the dock here," gesturing down the airlock corridor toward the cruise liner.
JC smiling tossed his poncho away from his rt arm and rolled up his sleeve showing the truth of Captain Brown's statement. Then handing his bag to be searched he awaited the all clear to board the liner properly.
"Jeremiah Christian Kane?" The one guard says, "The Jeremiah Kane? I heard stories of a Jeremiah Kane in the war. Oh by the buddha! Was this your shooting arm? Did the alliance cut it off as a punishment for killing so many? You thing they'd give you a better prosthetic instead of this - thing."
"I'm sure the tales make me out to be bigger then I am or killed more then I have but yes I'm that Kane. As for my arm" JC starts flexing it just for show. "Well you know what they say, use what ya got till better comes along, maybe there's better here? So what can you tell me about this liner. Does it have good food, nice ladies, games of chance perhaps?"
(Assuming some type of interaction while being checked out.)
After some time, The Baron and the Captain return. The baron smiles charming and goes over to make sure that JC is cleared to come on board. he then says loudly enough for all to hear, "Thank you for your hard work and efforts bring my daughter to her wedding ceremony. I understand there was some peril and although I am sure you face it daily in your life, I want to know I consider it very heroic." He pulls out a number of cards out of his wallet and passes them to the crew on the bay - Angela, JC, Stephanie, Catie and Jon. "These are good for 100 credits in the gift shops or casinos on the "Rim's Dream". Play a few hands on me or buy yourself something nice. You all on my personal guest list so you may go most places on the ship and enjoy the amenities."
As the Baron walked away Jon still wasn't sure he'd got a read on the man. Turning back to the crew Jon told them about Lillianna staying on Destiny until the wedding. "Ok.. Tess and Grace will keep Lillianna safe. The rest of us need to put on our party clothes and start to mingle. The Baron us gave run of the ship so let's go see what we can do for the Princess."
Party clothes he did not just say that "Captain ahhh these are my party clothes. Ain't got nothing nicer to wear."
Maybe a little shopping trip before hand was clearly in order, but JC had never had ‘party clothes' so he was at a loss to what if anything to buy. Waiting for some help he looked at Jon and the others quietly.................

"Firefly eh? Nice machine. Take you anywhere even if half the parts fail on you. Those aren't the factory drive pods are they? You had work done recently?"
"Yeah you could say that" Wolf smiled at Chewie and took another drink when offered. "Few weeks back we were on a transport run when we heard this mayday. Was from one of those high priced Star liners. Seems they had a hull failure and needed off of it quick. Well we found them and got them off all safe and sound but as we were moving away she blew and caused us a lot of damage to the engines so we had to land quick. Ended up on this no name husk of rock and waited there till a passing Alliance ship found us. Well some of the rich passengers were so happy to be alive they paid for new engines and now we are returning the body of one of them that did die, a fine gentleman name of Havelock."
"What!" Chewie said loudly, "That was you? I heard about you on the Vids! Killer mercenary slavers trying to snag rich people for ransom and sex slaves! Wow! Were you there? Like in the thick of fighting?"
"Ahh yeah I guess you could say that. Wait! Vids? You say you saw it on the vids?" Wolf was generally shocked having not had the time to watch a vid caster since he'd been released from holding.
"Chewie!" Captain Case admonished lightly, "Give the man a chance to breathe first. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. I am surprised they allowed you to bring him back here. I thought Serenity Valley was a closed site by now."
"Not 100% sure why they let us do so, though Havelock was a very big help in the rescue. You'd have to ask Captain Sung, Wyatt Sung, my captain as he knows all the details."
"Well Mr. Apollo, it is a pleasure to have made you acquaintance. I have things to do and I should really check on Billie but it has been an honour. I hope to see you around. We might be over at a saloon in town called Whistler's tonight if you have some off time. Maybe we will see you then."
"Yeah maybe so, I'll try to bring my friend Asher along, maybe more of the crew"
With that the captain goes back to the ship through the Cargo Bay."
Chewie turns to Wolf, "Tell me what happened? I want to hear the whole thing. The cortex had it some like unification war all over again."
"Nay no Uni war pretty simple really" Wolf then proceeded to tell Chewie a modified account leaving out more of the intamite details of his personal fight and trying to tone down the clear media exjageration. However one thing had caught the Rocinante's mechanic's attention so after telling the tale of the rescue he asked.
"So was wondering. Your Captain mentioned someone named Billie. She another of your crew?".................
