Subject: Roger its all good
Even missing your pics you STILL came in third  Well it was the Browns failure to beat the Steelers that did Ody in. By the 1 point gained from that game I seem to have come in first with Ody 2nd.
Now I'm going to do the playoffs a lil different this year.
Everyone starts the playoffs with the points gained in the Regular season. With the point spread so close that could give anyone a reasonable chance to win the playoff's and go to the Super Bowl.
Top 2 players will then v for the Title of Tann's 2015 pick'em champ per their pic to win the Super Bowl.
So good luck and next up the Wild Card rd.
**Actually I was thinking last night that I should really ask you guys if you want to try it this way or just start off fresh with no points. Let me know if you can before the weekend thanks.

That up until the games start be they Noon games, or late afternoon games, Thurs, Sat Sun/Mon night games. ALL players have the rt to change their picks as many times as they want to. Once the game starts that option is no longer allowed.

Subject: Night before a Christmas Eve
Now I know I wrote and posted this poem before on the Inn but I can't seem to find it to bump it up, so I'll just repost it again this year. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you for being Innmates here at the Inn. Enjoy.
Was the night before Christmas
And all over the town
Not a creature was stirring
No one seemed to be around.
The town seemed quiet
A slight breeze in the air
No sign of Santa Clause
To be had anywhere.
The people were nestled
All snug in their racks
The pressures of real life
This night off their backs.
Suddenly the quiet was broken
The calm of night swept away
Something bright and moving fast
Was headed the towns way.
A roar of thunder
The screeching of wheels
St Nicholas so loudly
Did he so suddenly appear.
No Rudolph, no reindeers
No sled had he
But a magical 71 Harley Fatboy
As bright red as could be.
The people so amazed
Came forth to see
A leather jacket clad Santa
A helmet wore he.
Astride the Harley
He so calmly sat
A true road warrior
But without his red and white hat.
On the tail of his bike
A big ole red sack
Full of toys and candy
And many magical nick knacks.
On the wind music
The people could clearly hear
A song Santa was singing
To dispel the people's fear.
"Bye, Bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levy
But the levy was dry
Those little worker elves
Were drinking whisky and rye
Singing no more does Santa have to fly."
Santa had ridden
For many an hour
His legs were weak
From the massive Harley's power.
He watched as the people
Came out to linger
A little boy picking his nose
With the tip of a finger.
A long road had he traveled
From the start of this magical night
The end of this road
Still far out of sight.
Looking them over
A smile on his white bearded face
He knew right away
That this was the place.
Feeling that familiar feeling
Deep down inside
He knew the time had come
To no longer hide.
And so with a wave
And a short time to burn
He hopped off the Harley
And to the people did turn.
"Merry Christmas to all
This fine lovely night
A nice wind you have
Yet with a bit of a bite."
"My bag of gifts
Happily I open to thee
But where is your nearest bathroom
As I really have to pee."
The next ten minutes
Went by so quick
The towns folk happy
With the gifts they all had picked.
Finally Santa returned
Relived of his bladder
Sat down on the motorcycle
Much lighter then fatter.
He looked at the people
still standing around
A hand into his pocket
And a gold coin was found.
Throwing the coin
To the nearest 21 year old teen
He asked for a shot
Of the towns best Jim Bean.
The shot arrived
Santa quickly drank it down
Got back on his bike
A last look at the town.
He started the engine
With a loud roar
Revved the engine
For a count of four.
The bike was then moving
Quickly out of sight
The people yet heard him
Call out into the night.
"Take this day
Hold it close and tight
Lets all try
To make it so right"
"Be happy
Be full of life
Be loving to children
Family, a girlfriend, a wife"
"Just remember I know if you've been
Naughty or nice.
Merry Christmas to all
And have a good night."

Subject: Old Friends
Rim's Dream "Olde West Saloon" Day Five of Journey. 11:20 am ST
JC enjoyed his drink and waited a short time. His schooling on Earth-that-was Old west was not very great but he was pretty sure that pink tops with leather fringe were actually worn in the day. Nor were sheriffs prone to wear tops consisting of tied kerchiefs with a Silver Star pin holding it all together. Not that he minded the view but for a high "class" place with a nice whiskey, it seemed rather cheesy.
The lights dimming slightly and a spot on the stage great brighter were the only signs that Annie was about to take the stage. When she did, JC was a little surprised. The young girl he knew had grown up a bunch since he seen her last. She wore a heavily sequined jacket over a (naturally) pink corset and black leather jeans. Under a white cowboy hat, her hair was much blonder than JC remembered. However the gunslinger had to admit she had grown up into quite the beautiful lady, and for a moment a very sensual image popped up in his mind.
"Howdy Folks!" she said with an artificial twank to her voice, "My name is Annie. Annie Foy and I'll be playing for you here at the Old West Saloon for a spell. If you have any old classics you'd like to her, you just come up and whisper into Annie's ear. Y'all know how to whisper right?" Yeah JC thought with a smile, she has that twang.
As JC listened to her singing he gazed around the room gauging any threats or people to be aware of, especially of any undercover sec types. He was about to order another round when Annie came up to his table from a side door. She looked both shocked and elated at the same time. "Jeremiah Christian Kane!?!? Is that really you?" she asked without a trace of the twang she used before. "Oh by the Buddha JC we thought you were dead?"
Standing Kane wrapped her in his arms and said "Now Annie you know better then that, I'm not that easy to kill. So how are ya sexy?"
Sitting back down, Annie joining him, they talked about old times. With her gentle yet sincere prodding for information on where he had been he found himself opening up more then ever before. He told her of his time with the Brown Coats, his years as an enforcer, how he got his metal arm and finally his time with Destiny and her crew. Then he sat quietly as she reprequicated in return finding in her narritive a little bit of admiration. However as the conversation winded down Annie, not a stupid person, started the conversation JC and been thinking of a way to start.
"So JC what brings you here?"
For the next five minutes JC went over the events that had brought the Destiny and himself to this point leaving nothing out. At the end he posed the question he had come hear to find out.
"So I need your help. What can you tell me of this upcoming wedding?".......................

"So where does that leave us Kadrin?" Maximus asked.
The Dwarven general looked around the rather plain room. "Way I see it laddie, The queen would be sending them back as fast as she could - maybe with reinforcements. Maybe we should stay here until then, assuming the room doesn't flood or blow up or attack us in some way."
Jarenion having opened one of the bags left behind looked inside, "Three of the healing potions are here and intact, as well as Lun's components for prayers and the like."
However before anything could be said or done with the left behind items a new danger appeared above the group of five. Maximus watched as first a single large brown gargoyle passed through the wall from the west and as if not there to stop it easily passed through the east wall. As Maximus quickly drew Jal and Hoth, deciding to go with a vorpal and ice combo. The first gargoyle was joined by three more upping the odds in the creatures favor. Banking in the air above the party swooping to pass over, screeching as they did so. With a last pass through the walls, the four creatures dived, heading straight in at the five party members below.
With no spells or any real item to stop them in their dive, Maximus readied his swords and hoped the combo of cold would shatter stone and vorpal would slice through it as if like cheese................

Ody you said you lost 1 point to me but gained one on Alacrity, are you sure about that. I have Alacrity and I at 9 points this week and you at 10. That puts you 1 point up on me and yes 1 point closer to Alacrity but that pushes ME to third not you.
Double check that ok. Sooo Thursday nite pic hmmmm............ Green Bay? lol
