Very good post Brom it reflected the removed posts and toned things down in a very nice timeline of events so to speak.
As for on the spot needs I would really like some more ammo but above all else silencers for the submachine guns Preacher, Peacekeeper and myself are carrin. Any hope of that as no matter your answer it will still go into my post.

With the mutant Bear dead and its jaws finally released from his shoulder the onrush of blood from his body and the pain seeming to increase almost caused the Sylvin Ranger to pass out, but not quite.
Then Geim was beside him and the Clerics healing Malius did feel. Though afterwards he was not at full Malius was ready to once again if needed continue the fight. The only question now was where Draven was.
“Hurry we must gain entrance to the tower I feel sure Draven has need of us all.”
So spoken the Ranger moved towards the Towers main door.

Team B continued its search of the south end of the facility in pairs Lee and Johnannsen to the Left the Staff Sergeant and Hart to the right. Then the call came in from the Lt as to their situation.
"Sergeant Kane, Fire Team A has engaged a hostile robot. Stand ready!"
As if a switch had been thrown Lee and then Johnannsen totally forgot radio discipline and both tried to talk at once.
“On Alert! Acknowledged! Lee and Johannsen rendezvousing with Sgt Kane.” This from Lee.
“This is Johnannsen, IS anyone injured? Is there still hostile action.” This from Johnannsen.
“Belay that!! Maintain radio discipline, if the Lt needs us he will call us. Continue your search.”
As the search continued at first both pairs turned up nothing, no people no “Yeti’s” and unlike Team A no robots. As Kane and Hart moved forward they quickly found themselves in some type of lab holding extra lab equipment, as well as samples from various experiments. Most of it looks rather mundane then as the Staff Sergeant and Corporal scanned the room they noticed a glass jar filled with a slightly yellowish liquid. Inside of the jar incredibly as it might sound floated an odd, green and black snake with two sets of wings sprouting from the creatures back, almost as if some mutated Dragonfly.
What the hell kind of experiments were they doing here Kane thought to himself
Then two other items caught the Sergeants eye, both metallic canisters clearly marked with radiation symbols. Kane could see without moving closer the canisters contents
One contained a personal music player, an ipod perhaps, slightly melted. The other contained four ratchets with the name "Clark" inscribed upon them. It was not the canisters contents that bothered the Staff Sergeant but the rad symbols.
“Hart stay back from those canisters; radiation protocol is now in effect.”
As he and the Cpl moved out of the room he got on the general freq for all unit members.
“Lt be aware have discovered radiation marked canisters, radiation protocol in effect for Team B, continuing search at this time.”

Maximus looked at the Green kneeling before and listened to its words without saying anything himself. He knew what he had said about mutilating him was more bluff then truth but to protect his companions from what lay above he would do what was needed.
He knew the possible cost of allowing the Green to live, tied up or paralyzed, having watched them play upon the weakness of others for his many years of enslavement.
The main thing Maximus had learned from his many years as a Gladiator was never trust a Green to be helpless; they always seemed to have something up their sleeves.
Behind him he could already hear the discussion began as to the right or wrong of what he had said and what he possibly would have to do. Though he was addressed by the Knight Arien he did not turn not wanting to take his eyes off the Green
"Stay your hand, friend Maximus, You know I am no stranger to bloodshed, but I cannot allow this. Were we executing this man for a crime, it would be one thing... but as far as we have seen, he has simply done his duty - he has followed the orders of his commander. I cannot let you murder him for this.
No one wants to gain this tower more than I! And yet, if you do this, if I allow you to do this, what makes us different from those we oppose?
No. Bind him. Let one of the mages render him senseless. But we will not murder a man who has offered his surrender."
The next to speak was no surprise as the young Dapple spoke.
“He didn’t surrender; don’t make that mistake, if he lives he will look to fight again. And it wouldn’t be murder…it would be justice. Any Green young enough to be serving has the blood of citizens on his hands. Take it from one who knows how the Emperor keeps his grip on the land.”
Maximus could tell the discussion if allowed to continue could very well tear the party’s loyalty to each other apart. The Green had finished speaking and was waiting on Maximus’s next action. He nor the others had a long wait as Maximus attempted to kill the Green as the creature kneeling before him had asked of the ex-Gladiator.
(OOC: When I am sure that my attack succeeded will I turn to Arien to speak the words below. If needed I will attack more then once.)
>DM"s Edit - I edited the post here because you made the assumption that you killed the Green. Never assume anything due to appearances in my game. hehehe
Finally turning to Arien he replied at last to the Knight.
“Weep not for him good knight; he was your enemy as well as mine. I have released him from his world of hate as he asked of me. You said not to become like him, I disagree, to defeat them one must become like them, if only for a little while. The trick is too never forget who you truly are inside.”
With that he once again awaited the party’s next move.

Tal’Anor waited for a response from Varuna as to the state of Dog, his own wound all but forgotten
“I have stopped the bleeding, but he will need further healing.”
Reaching into his bag once again Varuna starts pulling out small bags of items looking into them.
“Lysora the Great One, in her infinite compassion, has allowed me to save him but her healing powers are normally reserved for people so it won’t return him fully to health.
I can make something up that will speed his internal healing, but if you have any ability to heal him it would help.”
“I have the power to heal some damage thanks to the grace of my Goddess, Oriana. Let me help him.”
Quickly removing his armored gloves Tal laid his hands upon Dog.
“I call to you my love, let your powers of healing run through me and heal my friend for he and I need you now.”
As he stood from his healing the Paladin heard his cousins call.
“How is our companion? Will we be able to move on? This man tells us that his colleagues will be coming for us soon, we must prepare and pick our ground to make a stand.”
(OOC: Assuming the healing goes ok)
With Dog back on his feet, if a little unsteady as yet, Tal made his way over to En’Aranthea’s side and spoke to her in Sylvari.
“So what do you plan Cousin should I charge them as is my nature, to give you a distraction. Or bellow a challenge from below them I do make a good target for crossbows it seems”
This was of course said in jest to her to lighten the mood before they would have to face the men holding the lighthouse. Yes all in this company by now knew that the Paladin’s dry sense of humor truly left something to desire. Yet he used what little humor he did have to try to make all feel relaxed and ready for the combat ahead so in truth it it was not all bad but close.
As Tal again waited for a response from a party member he gave a silent prayer of thank you to his Goddess and one true love for her help with Dog. Oh how he wished she would visit him again one day. But for now a task lay ahead and he would not falter.....

Subject: Finally my post geez you guys so like PMing me LOL
With Cpl Johannsen’s task completed Sgt Kane ordered Team B further into the facility.
“OK listen up Lee, you and Johannson take the left side of the hallway; make sure you do a complete recon of all rooms on your side. One man in, one man stays by the doorway covering inside man and hallway rotate inside man every other room.
Hart your with me same M/O I’ll go in first.”
Moving to the first door on the right side (# Sgt Kane moved to enter it, Saw slung behind him for easy access and M13 in hand.
(OOC: Ok Olan when I enter a room I will be wielding my 45. When on cover I will use the M251 SAW. Order of room checks on left side all room 10‘s 11. Right side rooms 8, 6, & 5. Then both 2 man teams meet in area by room 5 and move to the next area and continue as such till we reach room 13 and then both will move in I will order who goes in first once we reach that room. We will continue searching each side until we hook up with the Lt’s team. I am doing this, this way as of right now we have no idea that the Lt’s team are under fire or soon will be.)

Maximus his sword ready for the killing blow had yet a question
“Aye that I shall but first a question, what lies above us, what manner of creature do ye face on tis roof. Answer and you shall die quickly by my hand without pain, refuse and in your last moment’s pain will be all you will remember.”
(OOC: If he tells the truth I will kill him fast, if not first his legs then arms and then death.)

Subject: Edited my last post
Ok Brom, Cdnflirt and I have edited our last posts too down play the conflict. I hope they are ok but feel free to tell us if more changes are needed or if you would rather we deleted them.
My problem was I thought of Jack as a fixer, though a powerful one, and not as a crime boss. Ya gotta remember I have only played Shadowrun before Punk and in that game most Fixers are middle men for the corporations.
I wish to say I am sorry to you personally and that I thank you for retracting your posts as to our deaths. That I almost died in the game I love playing here at the Inn the most and causing the deaths of two other players due to my actions scared the He** out of me.
Bottom line by not understanding what Croaker is really facing in this storyline is my fault for not comprehending and thinking through all the angles.
Again thank you for our lives.....

As Kane made ready to move out of the helo upon its landing he was approached by Cpl Johannsen.
"Staff Sgt, I've finished checking my gear will you look over mine while I look over yours?"
“Yes of course Cpl”
Turning her back to him he checked that her ruck, weapons, and arctic gear were intact and that all her equipment was in the right areas. A moment later she did the same to him, noticing the extra knife in his boot, a Gerber MK II, the extra field med kit in his pack and two extra pairs of thermal socks.
With a raised eyebrow she declared him set and with a knowing smile he did the same.
Within a few moments with that done both waited for the helo to descend.
PRESENT
As Fire Team B moved out he heard the Lt place himself at the point position of his team and had to turn back a moment to speak to him.
“Lt with all due respect you should not be on point if you go down from a boobie or ambush that would leave your team and us without a CO. Standard military and Op training stresses that very fact as point is always the most dangerous spot on a patrol But that’s up to you sir, your team, your call”
With Cpl Hart on point Fire Team B made good time across the frozen ground towards the Research Facility and though the air around them seemed somehow colder then normal still they all moved well together. Within minutes Kane could see how it was starting to effect the others and himself and hoped to find an entrance fast to get them all at least out of the direct cold.
Then with a signal from Hart a door was in front of the them, though it had clearly been torn from its hinges and cast aside, it now lay jutting out of the drifting snow. The open doorway after a fast recon was shown to lead into the south entrance foyer, which would normally be a relatively unremarkable room, were it not for the missing door and resultant snowdrift covering the floor.
Four steps into the room, Hart holds up a hand, signaling a halt. The team then sees what he has - a large, fur-covered hand sticking up out of the snow inside of the room.
A quick dusting off reveals the body of a huge (approximately seven and a half feet tall, easily four to five hundred pounds) apelike creature covered with long, shaggy white fur. It's frozen face is contorted into a mask of pain, most likely a result of the multiple bullet holes the corpse is riddled with.
“Well, at least we know that bullets will kill them”
This from Sgt Lee.
“Ok everyone take ten and stand at ease you all know the drill keep your arms and legs moving but relax, grab an energy bar and some water. Lee cover the entrance door behind us, Hart the interior door. Johannsen. if you can get me a DNA sample from the creature do so.”
Turning away he keyed his ear piece com unit.
“Lt, Kane here, we have gained entrance on our side of the Facility and have found the body of one of those Ape type creatures. I have Cpl Johannsen getting us a DNA sample and then will move further into the building. Any new orders at this time.”.......

Kane stood at attention as he presented his apology to W/O Blake and was not too surprised at her response.
"As you were, Sergeant," she drawled back at him, a touch of the Midwest invading her speech. "If that was "disrespect" to you, you've never been to the bars I frequent! I guess that's not surprising, you'd kinda stick out like a sore thumb. Anyway, you do what you gotta do to protect the honor of the Rangers, sarge, but I'm a big girl and can take care of myself. I'll straighten out anyone who crosses one on my lines, um-kay? So, uh, dismissed!"
“Thank you ma’am”
As he left and moved towards the hanger he could not help but think once again on the lack of the W/O’s military decorum. To allow Cpl Hart to get away with his clear disrespect of her as an officer worried him as to how she would handle herself out in the field. Thank god she was on the Lt’s fire team.
Kane entered the hanger to find Cpl Hart waiting for him his gear ready for inspection. Upon seeing him the Cpl came to attention.
(If not I will back post my actions due to that)
“Ok Cpl your gear looks good, I want to be sure your weapons are cleaned and ready to go as such you will spend the next 2 hours till take off cleaning your weapons, Dismissed”
With a last look at the Cpl, Kane moved out and began a check of all the other troopers to make sure all was ok with them. With this all taken care of he finally relaxed, checked his own gear, and then took a quick nap.
(Fast forward to aircraft)
Kane his eyes half closed, his mind relaxed came to full awareness with the Lt’s command of where to land.
“Ok you all heard the Lt we land in a few minutes, I want a last gear check, make sure your weapons are loaded and safe‘d. After you check your own kit I want each of you to check the gear of the man next to you. Once we hit the ground weapons off safety and team 2 form up on me.”
Once they were grounded and gathered into their fire teams the Lt had them all take a knee on the snow and gave his next orders.
"Some crazy sh** going on here boys and girls. This blue glow-park ain't the half of it neither. I don't know if they've been experimenting on monkeys here or what, but--" he quickly relayed Blake's find to the rest of the group. "This don't change how we go in. We go in hot, expecting trouble, and covering each other's asses. Got it?
"Good. Team one will sweep the southern hemisphere. Team two will take the north. Secure the buildings' main floor only, and regroup into the main facility's lobby in one hour. Now, unless Chief Blake has anything to add concerning what this blue igloo is; we move out."
With that the W/O put in her 2 cents.
“I have no idea what it could be, I’ve seen some early designs on force fields but nothing that’s gone past blue-sky dreaming, frankly. Could be electrical, and our boots are steel-toed and hobnailed. One of us better take the thermarest from our sleeping bags - it’s rubber – and slide it along the ground so we can walk on it as we pass through the barrier…that should prevent grounding if the barrier is electrical. Boss, you want us to all go in the main entrance then split to recon? There are several emergency exits we could circle around to and not go in the main way. If the personnel tried to evacuate, those entrances may be breached and we can enter without me having to code us in at each point.”
At this point Kane waited for the Lt to make any changes to his orders based on Blake’s observation.
(if no changes)
“Ok team two on me, Hart your on point, then myself , Johannsen and Sgt Lee on rear guard. Move out north Cpl.”
With that done fire team two moved out....

Subject: Short post as he is worried only about Dog
His wound, thanks to the crossbow bolt that had somehow hit him, was to him minor in nature and so he did not think anything of it. Having sent Dog out to try and stop the second man from escaping the Sylvari Paladin watched in disbelief as a bolt from the man’s crossbow actually hit the fast moving dog.
Tal’Anor thus seeing his War Dog go down moved quickly reaching the downed animal at almost the same time as Varuna.
“How is he healer, is it bad? If you need it my power of healing is yours to use.”
Tal could only wait on the healers answer in the yea or nay.
