Talas listened in silence as the identify of this “Alloryn” was finally revealed to the three members of the party unaware of her importance to the Knight Arien.
It was also clear that Dapple, Char and Kilgrim all knew of her and were friends with her and all seemed on edge.
A few moments of talk between the 4 and it was decided that there was possibly no need of a distraction and they would enter the area of the Monastery through some type of storm drain. Once through it the Knight Arien would leave them at that point to hunt for his sister alone, while Char having been put in charge would lead them in.
But once they all reached said drain Talas could not believe his eyes or stay silent.
“Ranger are ye daft, I will not fit through there, tight fit you said, but for me too attempt passage would be like putting a cork into a bottle of sprites with me as the cork.
If this be the only way in then we are doomed from the start”
He would not tell the party this if possible but the big strong fearless gladiator at that moment felt a lot of fear. Upon seeing the drain Talas had quickly come to the conclusion that he had somehow acquired a fear of in closed spaces. Better it would be to for him to cause some type of distraction and be able to move freely then to find himself the preverbal cork in the bottle and cause danger to the rest.
It was here as he awaited the group’s answer that he was forced to one knee and did almost pass out, a wave of some type of powerful magic washing over him. Having no real exposure to such magic, the pit fighter found himself on the edge of passing out. But as suddenly as it had came so it was gone and Talas shaking his head roughly, slowly regained his senses. He looked to the others to see that they too had felt this wave of magic and he did ask of them
“What just happened?”
Turning to Jal
“Are we discovered??”
For the moment his claustrophobia forgotten he only wanted to know what had happened and if the party was discovered..

Al in your post you talked about a magical wave or something hitting some of the characters but did not mention Talas by name. So my question is of course did I feel it too. I have my next post written on the bases of not having felt the wave but I wanted to make sure with you before I post.

Subject: A Dwarf Returned
Highnar could see that for the most part the fighting was over, the bolts from the hidden archers having stopped.
Clear it was to the dwarf that the Drow he had killed was the leader of this rogue’s, as upon his death the remaining Drow had fled. After searching the body for anything of worth he made his way over to the rest of the party, now all but Xour, clumped together around a female Drow and some dark elf children.
“Well met my friends, sorry am I that I was not here for the beginning of this fight, but a wee lad had need of me help this past forthnite. But I be here now and with Moradin’s blessing I will continue to be so. So what do we have here, a Dark one and her brood.”
With his greeting given he watched as the female Drow did attend to some in the party in the manner of healing. Who was this dark one surely she did not seem evil and the others seemed not to want to attack her. For now he would keep his hate of Drow quiet and would try not to condemn her on account of her skin color or heritage as hard as it would certainly be....

I have done it again, Welcome Eol to Cyberpunk and I am glad you answered my call ( or begging lol ) to join us.
Now I will not have to bug and beg you for the next few days to join (hey wait there goes my fun damn!!)
But I thought you were gonna take Bullseye but no matter as long as your here its ok and come to think on it Preacher is a better choice as Bullseye's sitting in the van and Preacher's right there with me as Blammm seems to still be AWOL.
Whats up with him Brom he still in or what I see his name as still up as Coyote but he has not posted in a LONGGGG time .
Now my next task is to find us a Bullseye .

Al you have my alignment listed as Lawful Good OMG are you nuts!! that means I can't poop without making sure the the sun is in the right spot . I am closer to Chaotic Good then Lawful Good as a Ranger trust me on that. The only time I have tried to play Lawful Good was as a Pali in one of Olan's older games. So I was thinking of an alignment change would that be a prob??

As Dapple and Char finally returned from their scouting mission each gave their account of what they had found below.
But then just as quickly the talk turned to someone called “Alloryn” and a dagger or knife of some sort was produced by Char and handed to Arien. It was clear to the big ex-gladiator that the name and the dagger/knife held some meaning for Char, Dapple, Kilgim and Arien, for all 4 of them had become as quiet as death warmed over, as if waiting for something profound to happen.
Talas could not help but wonder who this “Alloryn” was and why the 4 thought her so important. With a bit of a hooded glance Talas looked to Jal and with eyebrows raised, silently gave the little mage a “what do you make of this?" look
Hopefully the little mage would mayhap have some idea who this woman was....

Highnar watched as the Drow he had just attacked fell before him dead the roar of. Clanggedin, God of War loud in his breast.
Looking quickly around him he sought out the next enemy ever mind full of the bolts falling around him. It felt good to do battle once again, having it seemed been away from it too long, the blood, the pleasure of watching a foe fall, the rush of his axes striking true and the knowledge of being superior over yet another foe.
Battle was good Highnar thought to himself yet again, as he continued to scan for his next closet enemy....

Highnar saw as the rush of the goat carried him down into the battle proper that a Drow clearly hidden from the rest was quite visible to him. So in an second of thought the dwarf did Steer the goat towards this Drow, and waiting till almost the last minute he launched himself off of the goat to land facing the Drow his axes swinging for all they were worth.
“By Clanggedin's decree, ye shall die this day foul Elf!!”…..
(OOC: of course this all depends if I actually land facing him and not on my ass)

As things were with Char and Dapple scouting and a rough yet functional camp prepared there was really nothing for the rest of them to do but wait.
If the 2 scouts could successfully find a way in then it only seemed natural that this night the 7 of them would attempt to enter said keep.
But as was the case at this time all Talas, Jal, Adrian, Kilgim and Arien could do was wait.....
