Subject: Welcome to the Inn
Let me be the first of the RDINN staff to welcome you to our site. There’s a lot to do here for sure and if you look around I’m sure you’ll find a game or two to join. There is a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. So have no fear there is always something for everyone including Free Form games.
The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the site with respect and we will treat you the same.
So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and we hope you’ll feel at home. If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member you like.
And Yes Sibelius, 2nd Edition is the BEST!!

As Crow ate the last of the ration bar he quietly listened to the talk around him as what to do next. Having nothing to add to the idea’s of the others he chose to listen instead of speak. Ela having stated that she was going to check the far side of the bubble for a supposed weak area turned to Crow and ask him to join her.
“Of course” Standing the syl thief retrieved his dagger from the earth sliding it back into its sheath in his boot, and with the rains of his horse in hand followed Ela as she slowly moved around the bubbles perimeter.
Keeping an eye out for anything unusual himself, for the moment he followed quietly, in truth in no real hurry to enter the bubble himself. Though he was not a coward he surely was not a fighter and whatever lay inside that manor house, with the level of magic needed to create the bubble, was mayhap something he did not want Ela and he to have to face..............

Subject: In My game The Trilogy War
I set a one post a week minimum. Its perfectly fine to post more then 1 but they have to post at least 1 or give me a head's up why they can't as RL does play havoc with people at times.
All you as a DM or player can hope for is to get a good batch of dedicated players that are willing to do so.
Of course reminding them with Emails and game Q/A posts does not hurt eithier

Subject: Once or twice a week
For me depending on RL, events in my own game on the Inn, The Trilogy War, and the other game I'm in at present.
As a DM at the end of each weeks game post I set a day, normally 7 days away, each week when I will post and then hope my players post in that time frame.
If they don't and if I need too, I take control of the characters of players who did not post, and run them for that game post as an NPC.
Example my last post in Tril was this past Sunday, my next post will be this coming Sunday. I ask all players who join my game for at least 1 post a week and not to miss posting more the 2 weeks in a row. If a player has not posted in 3 weeks I try to touch base with them and failing that I drop them after 1 more week and find a replacement.
Of course if a player posts 1 week, then fails to post for two weeks, then posts and then fails again on a cont bases then I drop them after warning them.
Right now My game of The Trilogy War is the longest consistently running game, without any form of Hiatus or restart except for the big Inn crash, at the inn at 5 years, 5 months and still running. So I must be doing something rt .

“Noctus my friend that was Tharbad, not here, and as for helping them, including the ladies, I ask again, what’s in it for us other then you gaining carnal knowledge of some of them.”
“He has a point Noctus. Not all of us would benefit from getting intimate with the local ladies. Although……At any rate. I was getting bored, we should investigate further.” Ela herself replied before Noctus could he himself do so.
Yet before Crow could answer Ela, Noctus did finally answer Crow’s earlier question to him in better terms that the Thief could actually get into. Money talks as they say and for one without armor every little bit would help.
"Ahh Crow, my elocution may have made comprehension unattainable for you. Let me try to make it a bit plainer for you." Dropping his voice to a whisper Noctus continued, "Party do good; people feed Party and give Party shiny things for free."
Crow heard the Swashbucklers words and for the first time actually understood Noctus’s meaning and could not help but find himself grinning at the prospects of a big payoff.
“Yes I do like the sound of that my friend, let us, as Ela has suggested, investigate the possibilities further.”
However before Ela and he could move forward the talk turned from using the scroll, to trying to dig under the seemingly powerful spell force field, to Derry asking for any other suggestions. As Brandr went in search of a shovel Ela spoke of the possible use of the element’s of Fire or Water.
"Has anyone tried to do anything with that bubble besides walk through it? Perhaps tried an element on it? Water or fire perhaps? Likely it will have no effect but as you have said we are short on ideas.... Not to say that we have NO idea's mind you... just so many to try and so little time to try them IN if you catch my meaning."
As Ela was speaking all Crow could really do at this point was hop off his horse, tie its rains around a dagger thrust into the ground and take a seat. Pulling a ration bar out of his pack he began to slowly eat as Ela turned to him in a low voice.
"One way or another we had better do something, and do it quickly before this town starts to think we are involved somehow. The Drannen's are fickle to say the least..."
Replying to her in a same low voice and speaking in Syl
“Agreed, but what?, Ela my skills are useless here as there are no locks to pick or shadows to hide in. All you and I can do is wait for the rest to find some way in. Honestly Derry is wise to try and save the scroll for future use, but I’m afraid in the end we will have no choice but to use it anyway. Join me in a ration bar?”
The young Syl smiled as he offered her one from his pack.......

As far as Dragonblood's post what he said he did, about moving between Crow and Noctus and puting his arms on us, could not have happened anyway as Crow is still on his horse. And his post was posted after my complaint so has no bearing on my complaint.
My main question now, that you have posted it here for all to see, is why did you change the post in the first place. It was ok when you had it as such below or there abouts.

Subject: Malice St Christian
Malice was tired, not tired in the sleep needed way, but life tired. Though only 39 he had lived longer then most in his profession, with many a close call. As he washed his hands in the wash basin he looked into the glass mirror above it and as he had for the last 9 years of his life saw the long scar running down the right side of his face from just above the eye to under his tunic. The scaring visibly burnt as if someone had used a flaming blade, though the cut itself was very neat. A nice little 9 year reminder of just such a ‘close call‘.
His face washed he started to dress as tonight was his first night at his new job, socks, breeches, pants, boots. A dagger into each boot, then his belt with its pouches and attached Shuriken, a shirt to cover his upper body and the myriad of scars upon it.
Then over this his armor, the best Elvin chain money could buy, next over the chain a vest to both somewhat hide the armor and hide its magical shine in the light from Waterdeep’s street torches.
Then final touches a long black leather duster with sheaths for his two swords sewn into the leather and extending the hilts over both shoulders and his custom fitted Cestus gladiator style gloves, spikes on the knuckles and upper hand and Velcro on the inside of his palm and finger tips to better grip his swords and throw his shrunken.
With this completed he moved to the bed to replace the bar of soap into his backpack then locked it and all of the rest of his gear into the Inn provided chest using his personal lock. Though this new job provided a room and a bed, for the moment he was paid up here for the next 4 months so he would remain here until at least then. After that depending on how this job went he could make the move or pay for another 4 months. Turning to look into the darkest corner of the room he spoke to his roommate.
“So you ready for our first night shift, Lady, come on girl, lets go”
Hearing Malice’s voice a shape moved out of the corners darkness to reveal a large, yet very scruffy looking, mongrel. The dog looked to be a cross between a husky, a wolf, and something else. Malice had found her as a pup at the same place he had received his facial scar and the two had been friends ever since, Malice’s natural affinity with animals making it easy. Though she and Oynx had been acting strangely the past few times the male black dog had been summoned. With Lady following behind him, Malice locked the rooms door, again with another of his own locks, moved down the stairs, and with a nod to the inn keeper out into the street.
As he made his way towards the Estate he could not but think on the last 10 years of his life and wonder at the events that had brought him here to Waterdeep. It had all started with Khelban & Laeral Silverhand Arunsun and the feud between their organization, The Moonstar’s and the Harpers. Man had he stepped into it then, as in the course of his working for the Moonstar’s he had traveled to Skullport, gained the scar on his face, befriended the canine at his side, and almost even traveled to the Underdark. Of course he had almost lost his life a few times but without the danger inherent there it would have been boring, and boring was no fun at all.
Shaking his head warily, a slight smile on his face, Malice had to admit it had been fun and though he at present was not working for them, they had pointed him towards this Paranormal Protection thingamajingy. Though he was always on call to them as his skill was quite useful, he did need a part time source of income between projects for them. He was sure they would call on him again, if not for work, then to visit as he considered them friends as they did with him so it was always nice to stop in every once and awhile.
Then it was onto the Street of Silver and before he knew it he was standing before the doors to the Paranormal Protection HQ.........................
That had been three days ago and this was now the third night on the job, the night shift it was called and for the moment this ‘night shift’ was driving the 39 year old Ranger crazy with boredom. Had the Blackstaff and his wife sent him here as a bit of a prank, he had been a little mischievous on his last visit with that serving girl of theirs. Or was there something worthwhile here, other then the gorgeous redheaded Half-Elf Druid he had met during Magistratus Luscious intro presentation. If not for that Malice would have already been gone on to other adventures. Even at 39 he was not too old just yet and as he tried to discreetly watch her, such a lovely body hiding under that hide armor he was sure, he wondered how he could turn her Ice crystal blue eyes onto him.
Mystra, he was thinking like a school age boy best to get his mind back to the job at hand this ‘night shift’ thing..........

He is aware of getting a character to you so I would say hopefully he'll have one to you by sometime today if not as you said just move us on and he can then catch up.
