Do we in this world have something like phone numbers?
I plan a second post Intimate encounter post in the next few days where Wolf leaves Stacy some way to contact him if things with her dockies don't go the way she thinks. Plus she would perhaps be a good contact in that part of the galaxy.

“Sounds good, by the way, the names Fenris Apollo, and yeah, I’m the mechanic on that Firefly. So if ya don’t mind my asking what’s the deal with your dockies?”
"Stacy Tam and they don't like the fact that I'm dock foreman. Biggs wanted the job but he doesn't have people skills if you know what I mean. So get got promoted and he tries to get his boys to scare me off, only I don't scare easily. So we do this dance for now. In a few weeks I'll move Biggs to a better position but far away from me, and things will get shiny."
As Wolf listened to her reply to his question, he could only shake his head at the stupidity of some men.
“Nee mun DOH all of them, if they can’t see the advantage of a beautiful boss” He said back with a smile. Her return smile give hope to a small pang of fantasy inside him that maybe there was hope in some private time, but realistically with her on the clock and Wyatt possibly needing him back onboard the odds were against it. On top of all that her suggestive flirting could be just that, flirting. Wolf was and had been many things in his life but never one to take anything for granted or anything not given willingly.
With those amorous thoughts, at least for Wolf, put for the moment away the two of them set to getting the ship set up and ready to refuel and it was quickly taken care of. For a moment the silence between him and the sexy dock foremen seemed to linger as both were at first at a loss of what to say next. It was Stacy who broke the heavy silence first.
"Well it is all automated at this point. be about 30 minutes for the flush and another hour for the fill," Wolf could not help himself but watch as she stretched playfully before him. A man would have to be dead or castrated not to look at what she was clearly displaying. Her next words only confirmed his growing realization that she as much as he wanted a carnal encounter.
"I'm due for a break, wanna come back to my office? It ain't fancy but it is private."
His first reaction was to go, but then he stopped himself, his mind in full gear weighing the ramifications of such an action having no link to the ship and Captain Wyatt.

Fenris thought to himself as he calmed his now quickly beating heart and put his lower body in pause mode. Thinking fast now for some excuse, any excuse, to take her up on her offer he quickly remembered the Captain having allowed Sam to go off by himself to cool off, Wolf thought he would understand the mechanic’s situation. As the ship for the next 90-120 minutes was not going anywhere he’d hopefully understand Wolf’s decision to accept Stacy ‘s offer. If not well then at least Fenris Apollo would be happy in his punishment. Coming to a choice he turned to Stacy.
“I’d like that very much My Lady” Holding out his arm as a gentleman for her to take he allowed her to take control. “Please lead on”...........

With everyone rested, fed, and night fully fallen, the 5 headed out in the general direction of the castle as located on the Captain’s map. With rain falling around 100am it was not long before all were soaked to the bone and cold
With Clements on point it was not long before he reported a light up ahead, and almost at the same moment a cut off scream feminine in nature. Romo did not hesitate.
“With your permission sir, Corporal Clements and I will check out what’s up ahead while you, McGuinness, and Reid wait three minutes then follow us slowly to give us back-up as needed.”
(If no objection from the Captain)
“Clements on me, lets move Corporal”
With Clements beside him, the Master Sgt headed at a quick yet cautious jog towards the light...........
(OCC: Ok once we are about 40-50 yards from the light depending on the terrain we will go to ground and slowly crawl towards a place where we can get a good view while staying within the shadows and using whatever cover is available to the two of us.)

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off

As Maximus fired off his two throwing knives he was rewarded with two hit’s, the first knife into the leading creatures belly, the second straight into it’s eye. Then to further increase its problems a pool of grease appeared under its feet sending it crashing onto its belly, hopefully imbedding the knife there deeper into its body.
Having no time to look behind him to see who had cast the spell, Mage or Bard, he was still thankful for it‘s timely arrival. Hopefully it would keep the first spider incapacitated long enough to allow the big ex-gladiator time enough to deal with the second spider. Which even now leaped over the first to land in front of him.
His shield striking forward to block the spiders mandibles and perhaps cause some damage, Maximus aimed his vorpal sword to take the spider in its neck, hopefully severing it from body. If not at the very least to cause as much damage as he could before the spider attacked back......

As Wolf watched the four men in front of him, ready to act as violently or not as needed, they began to argue amongst themselves. It was not long before the voice of the female named Stacy entered the mix. As Wolf remained silent a new exchange of words took place.
“Yo Biggs!”
“Stacy! You know you can’t hire scabbies!”
“Ain’t hired no one Biggs! Now get back to work or help out.”
“Regs say you need a level four to operate a winch hose. I ain’t got one and neither does he?”
“Really? Did you check? Ask? Or just looking for a fight? Cause if you want one Biggs, I’m willing and able!”
As Wolf watched with a hint of admiration, Stacy stared at the four dock workers hard with the small man trying to match it and failing. After a few moments, the three guys, deciding they had had enough pulled the one called Biggs back and quickly left the area.
“Come on boss. You touch her and you know what happens.”
As Wolf kept his eyes on the men until they were out of sight out of the corner of his eye he saw Stacy wipe her brow with a rag from her pocket and then turn to him,
“Sorry about that. You know dockies, can’t live with them and not enough will fit in the turbine shafts.”
Having a hard time concealing a smile Wolf decided not too as he answered
“No problem, kinda enjoyed in a strange way, it’s been one of those days.”
“Well I better stay with you so no one can complain about you doing guild work. Thanks for the help though. You minding the Firefly? Nice boat, reliable but got spunk.”
“Sounds good, by the way, the names Fenris Apollo, and yeah, I’m the mechanic on that Firefly. So if ya don’t mind my asking what’s the deal with your dockies?”..........

With night having fallen and the five men having gained what sleep they could all were up and gathering their gear as the Captain spoke.
“We’re heading South. if this castle is so important to the German’s, that’s where to trucks came from, and that’s where Doc’s lady is going. I’m sure you can do a lot of good things with these, Corporal Clements. Keep your eyes open.”
The Captain said as he handed the binoculars to Clements.
“What I worry about most now isn’t finding the castle. I’m sure the Nazis will lead us to it. The hard thing will be getting in without getting caught. It would be very useful if we can obtain one or more German uniforms somewhere. So if you must shoot somebody, try to keep their clothes intact. The head’s a more lethal target anyway.”
With that said and everyone ready Romo assigned a marching order.
“Ok Clements your on scout duty I want you 50 yards in front with eyes and ears open. Next up myself, then Stewart, the Captain and finally you McGuinness with your scope. Keep as much of an eye behind us as you can. Ok whenever your ready Captain.”
With his orders given he awaited word from the Captain to move out.............

Ok just a heads up last night I got hit with a Rogue Security Program Virus and my normal computer is now infected. As such I'm using my Mom's old Compaq and having a hard time getting anything done with it as its slow and refuses to cooperate so I may be unable to post until I get my normal one back.
Hopefully it will be soon as it took me 20 minutes to get to the Inn this am.

Ok Alacrity on my watches now that we have a list of what we actually found if I can find a saw I’ll cut the Shotgun's barrels down making it of course a sawed off. Reason being that when using buckshot, some of its ammo is buckshot type right??, the shotgun is now a good room sweeper type weapon good in close quarters like possibly found inside a castle. Even if the load of buckshot does not kill any enemies at once it will wound them and stun them long enough to make it easier to play clean up with our other weapons.
As for who gets it, and the pistol, I leave that up to Almerin as our leader, but it should not in my opinion be the Captain as he is senior officer, and in no way will I allow him to be first through any door.
At least not without protest 
As for the other food items and supplies found I will spread them out among the other 3 troopers and myself and leave that up to you the DM as to who has what.....

Romo found himself awakened by Clements for his last watch and instead of returning to sleep the corporal stayed awake to clean his weapons and do a bit of talking.
“Sarge,”
The corporal whispered to him as the Master Sgt sat watching out the loft as the night around the barn darkened.
“Not to sound negative, I’m all for going forward with the mission… but do you think we have a chance.. just us .. and the ‘Captain’?”
“Well Corporal there is only us and the Captain, even if we had the capability to get a message back to Allied Command, the time frame they gave us is too short to hope for reinforcements at this stage. As for the Captain himself he seems dedicated to the mission and that’s all that is needed by us right now. If things change at a later date we will deal with it then. Just be on the lookout for anything that could be considered a radio tower or such as we still need to get a communication back to HQ on our situation.”
Having hopefully answered Brutal’s question Romo returned his full attention back to the surrounding area.....

Romo listened as the Captain replied to his “Devils Advocate” bullshit and liked what he heard. The Master Sgt had been worried the Captain would scratch the mission and try to head to the Swiss border. As the Captain patted him on the shoulder Romo had some last words for the Captain himself
“Don’t worry about me sir, I’m all for continuing, was actually going to try to at least recon the place on my own if you decided not to do so. I just wanted to be sure we were both on the same page. One thing though, once inside this castle, or if possible before, we need to at least get a message off to Allied Command and let them know the sit rap as it stands in case we do fail.”
With those final words spoken the Master Sgt took up position looking out the barns loft to keep watch for the next 3 hours.

“So what are your thoughts on our situation sir?”
““My thoughts on the situation? Well, Sergeant, my thoughts are that we’re going to have a tough time finding the castle without any good leads. But I know one thing, and that is that Germans like using motorized vehicles as much as we do. The castle will have a road leading past it, and it will be a road that is most likely heavily used.”
“So by that you mean to continue the mission then sir?”.
“I think we should follow the road. Or at least keep it in sight. Other than that I think you’re doing a good job of keeping the men informed. We all want this mission to succeed, and so my idea would be to continue. Even if we’re just a fraction of the original team. We’ll definitely will be less noticeable.”.
““Thank you sir, however I feel I must play devil’s advocate here and remind the Captain that there are only 5 of us, do you really feel we have a chance to complete the mission successfully, facing unknown odds?”
(OOC: Hey Almerin not done "discussing" with ya  )

Romo waited for the Captain and the rest of the 5 man group to reach him then proceeded to carefully check out the barn. With the homestead clear of anybody but the 5 men, back to the house they went. Once back in the kitchen area both Clements and Stewart began to eat from the leftover food. The Master Sgt could not blame them as he himself was hungry too.
“Ok listen up eat what you can in the next 15 minutes, then we move to the barn for the day. Doc, you and Stewart, after you eat do a quick check what food stuffs or supplies we can use that are portable as we’ll take that shit with us. McGuinness grab something to eat and take it and yourself and that sniper scope to a good watch spot and keep an eye out for any vistors coming down the driveway.”
With that said Romo also sat down at the table and helped himself...........
LATER IN THE BARN
With the house cleaned out of any useful supplies of food and medicines the 5 men took up temporary residence in the farms barn.
“Ok listen up, sentries will be stationed in the loft with the sniper scope from McGuinness's rifle and will be as follows. I’ll take the first 3 hours, then you McGuinness, followed by Stewart, Clements, then myself for the last 3 hours. By then it will be 2000 hrs nightfall and we can head out as ordered. Find a place to down here to set your racks and get some shut eye, that’s an order. Captain can I have a word with you in the loft sir”
(Once both sergeant and officer are in the loft.)
“So what are your thoughts on our situation sir?”
(OOC: Ok unless Almerin has something different in mind I went ahead and moved us forward as such. I also left it open for a discussion between him and I as the ranking individuals as to what our plans will be come nightfall.)

Subject: Got tired of waiting
As Maximus watched the young lad Dapple, seemingly in a loss of sense, hurried after the retreating threads only to be shredded by them. As he and the rest charged after him, any hint of caution clearly gone, Char was the first to reach the boy.
"Kilgim, Da'Moon's dow'!" Maximus heard over his pounding heart as the ranger moved to intercept the large spider coming down the hallway before them. Looking around quickly the big ex-gladiator spotted two more spiders heading down the stairs towards them.
Wasting no time he quickly moved towards the stairs entrance as he did so he transferred his vorpal temporally to the hand holding his shield, and proceeded to fire off two of his throwing knives before retaking the sword into his proper hand once more. Reaching the head of the stairs he braced himself for the arrival of the first spider.
(OOC; Ok For this free round we have vs. the two spiders headed down the stairs, I’m hoping due to their size they are coming single file, I will use a half move to reach the stairs and the other half of my action to throw two of my Throwing Knives at the lead spider. At the end of my turn I will transfer my Vorpal sword back to my free hand and brace for the lead spiders attack. Or both of them if side by side or able to do so.)

Let me be another Staff member to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen Miss Roguehime there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. So have no fear there is always something for everyone including Free Form games.
The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.
So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and we hope you’ll feel at home. If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.

Subject: 3 real choices
After resting in the house which I think is the best place to rest we have as I see it 3 choices.
1) We continue the mission as planned, though at this point with only 5 effectives its pretty much a suicide mission.
2) We head over the border to Switzerland and attempt to contact the US Embassy there and relay to Allied high command the missions failure. Of course if caught by the Swiss Authorities we will be interned for the rest of the war. This choice realistically is the one I would vote for in a RL situation.
3) Attempt to hook up with a Resistance group somewhere between where we are and France if we know of one in this area. As its still 1943 and all of Europe is still under German Control I doubt without help we could get very far without being captured.
Your call Almerin...........
