Subject: New background
Tomiki Kenji was born an elf to a prominent elf family that did not want him, within a matter of hours he was left in an alley all alone. By fate or the gods some say he was found by a young Asian women. The human women feeling an immediate bond to the Elvin child took him home to her family. Though at first hesitant her determination to raise the elf child convinced her very oriental focused family to accept him as their own.
The first 20 years of his life from age 5 consisted of training in Japanese style combat with weapons, horses, and in the art of stealth. It was revealed to him during this time that the hesitation of taking him in to his new family was due to the family business of Ninjitsu or the Art of Assassination. He learned the history from its beginning by Prince Shotoku as spies, to it's first true use in the Genpei War for assassination. He was taught the eighteen disciplines.

With his family's help over the next 40 years he became one of it's greatest shinobi no mono, or better known as ninja to those outside the family. He gained the name of 'The Spider" to both friend and foe alike for his ability to get in and out of places. His success brought much money and prestige to his family as the years passed by
However he was born an elf and as he grew as such, his family grew old as human's and one by one his human family slowly died. Leaving just him at his mothers side as she slowly died at the human age of 96. That day the hardest for him in his 60 years as within a few short hours she was gone leaving him once more alone. For the next 10 years he wandered the lands not so much the assassin but as a figure of oriental idealism. Though he still took jobs as an assassin or thief the jobs were now more against those deserving of it then for the anonymous.
Finally in his wanderings he found himself in the town of Thay working for a Dwarf named Dwan, locating and recovering various tech and items of interest from the Rust Wastes, and has been here for a year to date......
I think its much better then my crossworld one and is a tribute to YeOlde as his character in my game was also named Tomiki Kenji.

As Casino watched his 3 rd burst seemed to have the desired effect causing the car veer to the right, smashing parked cars before finally rebounding into oncoming traffic and crashing headlong into a van with a mighty impact.
Moving quickly, reloading the MPK with a full magazine, he made his way to the boosters car to look inside. Reaching in feeling for pulses he was shortly joined by a limping Fixer.
If he finds any of the boosters even faintly alive he will put a rd in their heads to finish them off
"Your hurt, how bad?" Casino quickly moved to exam the Tech's leg. "Shit that's gonna bruise and hurt for awhile. Where's Vegas?"
I assume some type of response here
Turning to over look the scene his worst fear about coming outside had come true. Starlight down on the street with blood from a bullet wound.
"Oh F***" Quickly moving to the Frank Sinatra solo he watched as he tried to stem the bleeding. Staying out of Vegas's way he hoped his partner could keep their employer alive. If not, then the nature of this run would change and the repercussions of her death would be felt by all.......

Roger here's my background and his keepsake.

Max Constantine grew up on the mean streets of Baltimore City Maryland as an orphaned outcast unwanted by his surviving relatives. Using his teen quickness to his advantage he became quite good at the art of thievery in everything from breaking and entry, to robbing small banks, and even doing jobs with higher priced thieves. Mentally and emotionally harden by his years on the street he had no qualms at doing anything needed to survive. Though no stranger to killing to survive he had never committed downright murder. It was during one such high priced breaking and entry job that his luck ran out and he was caught by the police leaving the scene. Given the choice of 10 years in prison or joining the military on his 18th birthday, after 1 year incarceration, he chose military service.
It was here he found his stride as a scout for the Army's Special Forces and found himself deployed all over the world with his 12 man team. It was during such a deployment to Afghanistan that a strange thing happened to him and his team while on patrol. One minute they found themselves in an ambush looking for cover in a cave the next a burst of light like a grenade and they found themselves somewhere else.
A world both medieval and sci-fi in nature full of swords, bows, and shields, yet also stocked with energy weapons and lasers. As the months went past and the team slowly parted or died around him Max came to realize the type of world he had been thrown into falling back on the skills he had learned on the streets of Baltimore as a teen. Learning to fight with swords and blasters he became part of this new world learning to survive. His only symbol of a world lost his .45 caliber Desert Eagle and 2 last 10rd clips. With a gun powder free land this handgun and it's last 20 rounds are his keepsake only to be fired in great need.

I think Vesper still wants in as well as Aletheia as I've heard no complaints from them. Not sure on the rest myself but hope they are still up for it. If we lose some maybe go with a smaller crew?

Not saying a word as Vegas moved towards the club's front door Casino moved to follow. Knowing that further talk was useless all he could do was back-up Vegas's play. As the three of them moved out to the street and Vegas moved towards Starlight the big solo kept his head moving from place to place trying to cover all the possible shooting positions.
"There you go, choombas, now, how's the gig playing out?"
As Casino heard Starlight's comment and question almost immediately on it's heels he heard Fixer yell gun. His head and body moving on instinct, Casino went to his knees spinning and tearing his MPK free from the cover of his trench coat. Automatically using his smart-link targeting software Casino aimed for the car's driver and fired off a three round burst. If these idiots wanted to play at killers from the inside of a car it would be their tomb.....
(OOC: Ok going for the driver then the passenger with the 3 rd burst. If I kill the driver with the 1st or 2nd shot, I'll redirect the remaining rounds to the passenger.))

On top of that the drama it will cause for Lady Campbell will be bad for her and us. PM Starlight she if she can meet us in the back or a nearby location first. If not then we may have to get them later."
Releasing Vegas's arm he waited for a reaction from his partner.
However as Casino looked at the expression on Vegas's face he knew his partner wanted to go out front. Why Casino, did not know, but guessed that maybe his partner was bored and looking for a fight or he really did not know the danger of these boosters. Looking into his friends eyes he tried one more time.
"Vegas we been friends and partners a long time so please just text her and see if she can meet us out back. If not then yeah, we go out the front, agreed?"
Once more Casino hoped Vegas's would at least do that if nothing else As he waited from behind him Fixer spoke up.
"These boosters are cowards. They think they have safety in numbers. We just go out toting bigger heat and they could bow down." Fixer spoke in the midst of it all. He was not usually one to instigate a confrontation, but it may be unavoidable. "Or we could get into a fight where you may have to use the grenades you just done paid for."
Turning to him Casino tried to let him know why the big solo felt going out front was a bad idea.
"You might be right but it's not part of our job right now to create a firefight in the middle of the street. Starlight said discreet, what's more less discreet then a firefight. On top of that I do not, do not, want to get on Campbell's bad side and lose this place as a meeting site and place to relax."
Turning back to Vegas's he pleaded with his eyes to at least use the agent in his hand to contact Starlight for a meeting in the back of the club. Of all the f**king times not to have an agent himself, this was the worst. Casino made himself a promise, no more gambling, no more.
