Don't want to overide any orders given by the LT and I want to know also if the Lt confides in the Staff Sergeant about what W/O Blake found.

Subject: Another round!!
Highnar was in his element killing goblins and Orcs was almost as if a form of release a type of therapy for lack of a better thought. With Brianna behind him he knew he was safe from any rear attacks and with her following he moved forward to finish off the two Goblins to his left. ( G37/G38 )
After they were dead his plan was for Brianna and he to fall back and try to help Logan and Lorae and take on the enemy around them then all 4 together could surge forward perhaps and finally finish this battle successfully.

Malius screamed in pain as the mutant Bear’s jaws closed and bit deep into his shoulder. As he fought to somehow extract himself from it he could not help but think that his attacking, melee wise, may not have been the smartest of moves.
With his Shortsword arm useless he jabbed upwards with his longsword aiming for the gap between its upper and lower teeth caused by his flesh in between.
“Amin Khiluva lle’ gurtha ar’ thar”
(I will follow you to death and beyond)
He shouted as he attacked.....

Tal moved quickly his sword appearing in his hand as if by magic, his shield set to ward off any attack. Yet the big Paladin was not fast enough as a crossbow bolt nicked him as he moved forward.
“Dog, Attack!!” he shouted knowing the big war dog would back him up against these foes.
For but a moment his thoughts went out to his cousin but having fought beside her a few times already this trip he knew she would be okay. Also he had no worries for the others as they had shown they too could take care of themselves in battle. For now his focus was on the enemies before him as it should be....

Once again, his 2nd arrow having hit the beast before him, Malius was surprised at the lack of attention to it by the mutant bear. Did this freak of nature not feel the bite of steel as the arrows struck it.
It was clear to Malius that he would have to attack it head on, his bow slung and both of his swords drawn to hand, he moved to attempt an attack against it from behind...

Kane stayed at the edge of the group after assigning everyone into two fire teams he for the most part just watched to see how these two new troopers would interact with everyone.
He did not have long to wait in the case of Cpl Hart.
"Speaking frankly, sir, I'm supposed ta bein on leave at the moment. So I'm not takin to kindly that I'm bein here intead o' back home. I'm of the opinion that it'd be much more comfortable there as well. So, if that's all, I think that I'll be seein ta my gear and such."
Then without a salute or waiting for the LT to dismiss him, he moved over and seated himself next to W/O Blake and started to talk to her as if she was enlisted or a civie and not as the officer she was. Yes he himself had at first disrespected an Officer, namely the W/O, but he was damned if he would let Hart disrespect both her and the Lt Not while he was senior NCO.
Walking over as nonchalantly as possible he stopped at the table and spoke to the corporal.
“Cpl Hart join me outside please, that’s an order.”
(OOC: If for some reason he disobeys me I will ask a second time if he still does not do so I will grab him by the back of the collar and drag him outside the room.)
Once the two were outside the room Kane quickly turned on the Cpl and spoke.
“Get your ass to attention Hart right now!! I’m only going to say this once and once only so hear me well Cpl. I don’t know who or what the hell you think you are but you’re a Cpl in the United States Army and you better start acting like one. You do not leave an Officers presence without waiting to be dismissed by said Officer and once dismissed you do not leave that Officers presence without rendering to that Officer a proper salute. Also you do not, I repeat do not, just walk over and sit down at an Officers table as if she or he was your best friend!! You first ask permission and then seat yourself a respectable distance from that Officer and only if that Officer allows you to do so. At all times you will refer to the Officers of this command as Sir or Ma’am and so help me Cpl if I see you act like such again you and I will have a much more private conversation!! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR CPL HART!
Now gather your gear and stand ready for me to inspect your kit in the vehicle hanger in 15 minutes. Move it out Cpl.”
With Hart on his way Kane made his way first to the Lt and came to attention in front of him.
“SIR!! As senior NCO of this unit I must apologize for Cpl Hart’s disgraceful attitude towards you as an Officer of the United States Military and I promise it will not happen again.”
(After any reply Kane will salute him and move over to Blake once again coming to attention in front of her also.)
“Ma’am I wish to apologize once again for the demeanor of both Cpl Hart and myself, nether he nor I will disrespect you again. With your leave Ma’am.”
(Same as above once he is dismissed he will head to the Vehicle area.)

Subject: A Paladin ready to Fight
Tal and Dog had been for the most part quiet throughout the trip to the area of the lighthouse. In the Paladin’s mind there really had been nothing to say as they all knew where it was they were heading.
Then finally they were back on land and moving towards this so called lighthouse Tal’s hand resting lightly on the hilt of the sword at his side. Then without warning a javelin appeared as if by magic in front of all and the sword was quickly to his hand, his shield raised in readiness.
"You will halt!" a voice called out in oddly accented Apanonese.
From the brush in front of them the owner of the yell stepped out and revealed itself to be a brown-scaled sla'kar. Standing shy of six feet tall, Tal could see that it carried a shield made of some sort of hide on its left arm, and was wearing a blade of some variety on a belt around its waist. It was that simple fact of the weapon sheathed and not held that stopped the Paladin’s reactive attack and a command of ‘hold’ to check the War Dog‘s lunge.
As was the norm for the moment Tal would remain on guard and allow the others to do the talking.

We're safest staying in and giving them the corpse. Make it look like we think we're at fault and we're too scared to ask for payment. Give them what they want and they probably won't even think we know enough to be a danger. What do ya say?"
Croaker wanted politely until Spiff had finished his monologue and then replied.
“I say you’re living in fantasy land if you think they will let us just walk away. You really have no idea how the Corps work do you, Spiff. Biotechnica can’t afford to let us live whether we know anything or not, they can’t take that chance period. Corps are all about the money and this new drug once it fully hit’s the street will make them a bundle. So yeah they have no problem taking out a few runners and the fixer who hired them, to them it’s cheaper to kill us then take the chance of us leaking the fact its their drug.
So just like on the stairs at the Hole when you left Peacekeeper and Guardian behind, be a coward and run away I’m sure none of us will miss you."
Turning to Preacher, Firewind and the rest of the people gathered here he addressed them.
“Spiff here is right in one aspect, yes what we decide to do next may decide if we live or die, but is hiding out for the rest of our lives worth it. Peacekeeper, BullsEye, Jack and myself are in this to the end as they are already looking it seems for Peacekeeper anyway.
So its up to the rest of you as to what choice you make.
Stay here with us and try to save ourselves or run away with Spiffy here and for sure end up dead.
Your choice people.”

Tal was quiet as they decided finally on a course of action, to seek out this lighthouse.
The hardest part for him though was leaving his prized warhorse behind in a strange stable. With a few friendly words to the horse he and Dog headed to the hired ship, and once aboard he stowed his gear and again with Dog by his side awaited the ship to leave.

Maximus saw the arrival of yet 3 more greens and without a thought attacked the first of them as he leaped over the greased area of the steps.
The ex-gladiator hoped to get in at least one or two attacks upon the enemy soldier before he could land and gain better defense and return the large man’s attacks. Though a slim possibility due the speed of the greens Maximus could not help thinking ‘nothing ventured nothing gained’

Ok call me cold hearted but this is how I handle such situations in Trilogy.
I wait about 2 weeks then I try emailing the person not posting and ask what’s up.
If I get an explanation as to why they are not posting be it real life or other issues and that they wish to continue I NPC them till they return.
If I get no word at all about what’s going on I wait another week then if still no word from them I drop them. If dropped I find either a new player to take over said character or kill the character off and let a new player bring in a new character.
When people join a game like this that has a 1 week posting rule that is clearly what is wanted by the DM so then if they cannot post that week or for a few weeks at least give notice of such and maybe an explanation.
That’s all I have ever asked of my players, if they can’t post for that week let me know as soon as they can and we can work it out. Like myself with my leg I told all my players and DM’s that posting for me right now is hard and depends on my pain level but that I would yet try to post. That to me as a DM would have been more then ok for not posting.
But Al your game, your rules.....
