Subject: Refresh my memory
What players are still active in the game mainly asking about Vespers and Jozan1. If they are gone should we not find new players for them. I'm sure there are Inn members who we could ask if they would like to join the game.

Subject: Malius's actions rd 1
Malius was quick, his bow having been ready for some time with an arrow nocked raised and fired, a quick reload and a second arrow was fired within a matter of seconds. (Two shots per round)
It was then that the Ranger noticed for the first time the lack of sound and that Draven and the Bladesinger Elessarae seemed to be not be able to move. With Draven behind him and the Bladesinger to his front he quickly moved to place her behind him, and to cover Draven until whatever it was keeping them paralyzed was gone. Arrows nocked for his next round of fire Malius was ready.....

Subject: A Malius Post Whoo Hoo!!
Malius his bow still aimed at the newcomer watched silently as the other members of the party responded to the man’s questions about Draven.
He almost laughed out loud when Draven himself responded pretty much putting the newcomer in his place. Malius had to hand it to him, Draven sure did know how to put a person into place including me, the Ranger thought to himself, a sarcastic smile breaking through.
His bow lowered, yet still loosely knocked, he waited for someone to make the next move his eyes roving constantly around yet seemed to find their way back to the young new Bladesinger, Elessarae he thought he had heard her called, time and again.
As Malius waited the talk continued with the Lady Quilanday finally looking to Wolf, and seeing the man had clearly cooled down a bit, called to them all.
“We can’t linger too much on distrust. We find ourselves in a situation where we are not all acquainted, but we all have the same goal. Now how will we go about finding this tree? I think it’s more important to find the tree than finding the monster. If we don’t find the source of this tragedy, there will be more monsters before we know it.”
“I know where that tree is.” Wolf replied dryly. “I can take you, if you are ready.”
“Then lead on stranger let us not hold you up.” Malius spoke up for the first eager to be done with this terror. His gear never having left him he was as ready as he was going to be to move out.

Out of 7 games, not including Trilogy, I am in at the moment there are two games I will not drop unless there is no other choice and CWWLLO is one of them.

As to what Edition he was last associated with I believe that would be AD&D 2nd edition as he is given credit for its creation in the first page of all the books.

As he followed closely behind the Cap’n as he and the rest of the crew walked back to the ship, Fenris could not help but over hear as Willow leaned her head close to Sung’s,. “That one’s more than she appears to be, and less, too. Best make sure we get full payment before a single container leaves the ship, Captain-San.”
Though he had the hot’s for Brigit he still had to agree with Miss Willow in that from what he really knew of her, which was not a lot just rumors and back ally gossip, she was not to be trusted too much. He was caught by surprise when Captain Sung turned to him and spoke…
“You know her, Wolf; we got reason to think she’d cross us?”
“Honestly Cap’n most of what I know of her is maybe gossip and rumors she's JW's fiancée make no mistake but he travels off world a lot, and there’s talk that she's got a wandering eye. But trustworthy….” Fenris had to pause here for a moment
“No I think we need to do as Miss Willow says and not trust her too far. Sorry I can’t help ya more Cap’n but I never got close enough to her know her that well.”
With that said Fenris gave Sung a lopsided grimace of apology and wished he could have been more help.....

The Metalstrom – Upper East Side – March, Friday 13th, 2020, 5:40am
Croaker slept, he dreamed of things he would not remember upon waking, but seemed all too real to him in those moments. Bad or good it did not matter as he awoke to the gentle touch of Jaimy’s hand to find that Bulls Eye and Firewind had returned, and with them food. A brief meal and a semi-full stomach Croaker lay back down on the bed with Jaimy curled next to him and fell back to sleep.
It was Firewind’s watch alarm that woke them at 11:00am and from the sounds below them it was clear to the four that the cleanup crews were still assembling the furniture, and cleaning up from the previous night’s activity. Outside the storm was still in full swing, causing the rain and hail hitting the sides and roof of the building to sound like miniature firecrackers.
With the last of the Soy Burgers eaten and still no word from Jack all Croaker wanted for the moment was to wait, try to make plans for a new place to stay after their 24 hours expired, and to somehow get the gear needed to raid wherever Jack would send them.
“Croaker got a minute” The Nomad turned to find Firewind standing at his elbow.
“What’s up?”
“Shouldn’t we be moving to the Red Lantern to meet up with the rest?”
“The rest, the rest of what, ya mean Spiff and his sidekicks, now why in the hell would I want to do that”
“I don’t know Croaker maybe safety in numbers, more guns means more firepower, hell allies are always a good thing.”
For the moment Croaker was quiet but then his emotions got the better of him.
“Allies the last person in this city, hell on this planet, I want for an ally is fixer boy Spiff. Look I don’t trust him as far as I could throw him as the saying goes. He left Guardian and Peacekeeper alone on that fire escape and ran away. He is a backstabbing coward that ain’t worth a s**t to no one, frag even Jack told him he was a p***y”
“Croaker your right he is all that but in the end, to paraphrase an old saying as you just did. Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.”
“Firewind no one is keeping you here if you want to go, go I will not stop you.”
Out of the corner of his eye Croaker could see Bulls Eye watching the debate but not saying a word. Croaker knew that no matter what was said between him and Firewind his Nomad brother would follow his choice. But the look in his brother’s eyes and the hard line of his jaw told him that Bulls Eye too felt as Firewind.
Still semi-angry Croaker turned his attention to him.
“So I guess you think we should go to the Lantern too huh”
“Look brother we are family where you go, I go, no matter what, but Firewind makes sense with the whole friends, enemy, more guns, more firepower BS. Can we afford not to at least meet with Spiff; look at it this way no one says we have to like him. We go to the meet, hear what is said between everyone and then we decide if we stay or go.”
Not saying a word Croaker stood up, moved past Firewind and Bulls Eye and out through the rooms door. It was here a few moments later that Jaimy found him leaning on stairways railing.

“You ok Lover” Her hands moving to rub his tensed shoulders.
“No” The Nomad replied without elaborating
“Talk to me”
“I don’t trust Spiff, I don’t like the little weasel, and I think dealing with him is a mistake. He has yet to prove he is worth a s**t in a fire fight, yeah he’s got the gift of gab make no mistake, but he does not have the cajones to back it up.”
“Ok your right he left me and Guardian on the fire escape but so what I’m still here, if that’s the only reason for your feelings towards him then Lover that’s a problem. Look you and I are both professionals, good at what we do, but your letting your emotions get the best of you, why is that, because its ME Spiff left behind. Not Guardian or some other runner but me, Jaimy Hammond aka Peacekeeper, love of your life and soul mate, tell me I’m wrong Richard I dare you.”
“Ok ok God**mn it your right it’s about you it has been from the minute I saw you walk into the meet with Jack. What did you think, I was happy to find out you’re the fragging famous Bounty Hunter Peacekeeper. Did you forget that I am wanted by quite a few big wigs and cops due to my ’family'. Jesus Christ Jaimy I always thought that one day someone would send her after me and I was not going to be good enough to take her.
Now I come to find out it was you all along and frag I been sleeping with my worst fear.”
The last said with a pained sarcastic laugh and the accompanying release of pent up air; her hands to his face Jaimy turned him to look him directly in the eyes.
“Richard I knew about those bounties but I would never have taken them for real as much as you love me I love you more. Yeah I led others to believe I was looking for you, even killed one or two rivals who took up the search for you and got too close. But trust me Lover as long as I’m alive I will do everything, use anyone, in my power to keep us both, and now Bulls Eye, safe the three of us are family and I won't forget that. But you have to stop thinking of me as Jaimy Hammond and start thinking of me as Peacekeeper or your worries over my safety will get me, you, Bulls Eye and anyone else with us dead. Also think about Frankie, even though I myself do not like him, he is still your friend and stayed that way even after we tried to kill him, ya at least owe him a sit down. Plus for the time being we need to trust Spring Heeled Jack, look you know now that I have worked for him before, and I trust him more then most. You say you love me ok fair enough and I love you too, but do you trust me”
The question seemed to hang in the air between them as if a living entity growing with every second of silence. Then without a word Richard bent down to kiss her hard, his arms pulling her close to him.
Releasing her he stepped back, took a breath, and took another long look at Jaimy then with her following moved back into the room.
“OK gather up all the gear we’re headed to the meet as we have no wheels we need a taxi so let’s make sure all weapons are nicely out of sight. Next who has the key?”
Firewinds hand came up.
“Leave it behind we won’t be coming back here anytime soon.”
A few minutes later with everything packed up and their ready weapons loaded and available for fast use they exited the Metalstrom as the crews Croaker had heard upon waking were still assembling the furniture, and cleaning up from the previous night’s activity. The storm was still in full swing, causing the group to hunch against the ferocity of it until they could reach a bus bunker. There they hailed a cab, and again at Firewind’s expense, they were carted over to the Red Lantern.
The Red Lantern
It didn’t take them long to spot Spiff, Scribe, Guardian, and Preacher. Informing the hostess of their pending meeting, they quickly found themselves seated around the table, the previous night’s hostility towards one another not forgotten. In a calm hard voice, keeping all emotion out of it, Croaker looked to Spiff.
“Ok Spiff lets get one thing straight, talking for myself Peacekeeper and Bulls Eye, we will listen to what is said here and if its on the up and up we will work with you, but not for you. We talk everything out and everyone gets a say, but in the field I am in charge, behind the scenes and dealing with the mechanics of gear, contacts and so on I leave that to you and your fondness for BS. Make no mistake Spiff, I don’t like you, I don’t trust you and the first time you order me, Peacekeeper, Bulls Eye or anyone else to do something that’s out of your area you can say goodbye. Do we have a deal?”
It was at that moment when Peacekeeper’s cell phone rang.
“You still with that nomad output o’ yours, Lass?” The voice was Springed-Heel Jack’s.
“Yes you know I am, we're all here at the Lantern waiting on you.”
“Tell ‘im t’ expec’ some ‘elp in the form of a tall Asian fellow named MDK. I’ll upload target information t’ yer phone in a minute.” Then the line went dead.
The timing couldn’t have been better, because that’s when the tall Asian and his companion arrived.

Subject: The dwarf's sandwich
As Hignar balanced his four layer sandwich, slowly bringing it to his mouth, he could hear Brianna and Vetta taking bets on if he would be able to wolf it down or drop it all. To no doubt the amazement to all within 5 bites the sandwich was gone and not a piece dropped. With a huge grin, his teeth and lips covered in egg yolk, he turned to them.
“So’s which ones of ye two did win ya’s bet, as you be see’in that I finished”
As the dwarf settled back in his chair stomach for the moment filled he watched as the magic items were brought out.
“Well I be see’in a few things I could be ausing first of course be that them there two rings the one of the Ram and the other of Evasion. And lastly, now doin't none of ye be laughing now, but mayhap that there Stone Horse as it be more obligining to me commands then yon beast ya have so far saddled me with.”
With his choices announced Highner sat back to await the choices of the others.....

Subject: Well here's my two cents
In the end this is America, for most of the members of the Inn our home, a home I fought for, in whose military I proudly served, and whose young men and womening are dying RIGHT NOW to try to help other people stay free. Wrong or right, black or white, it makes no differance in the end. This is America and its not perfect by far but I would rather be living here then in China or North Korea or Serbia or some other other country. Politicians are crooked, Religion is a choice, and who you vote for on election day is no ones business but your own.
Taxes suck I agree, hell I don't even get a return anymore, but this nation is my home and I would die to keep it free.

Subject: a short welcoming post to the new NPC
As Malius examined the tracks before him Loda stood quietly with the two bladesingers, and as the Ranger began to rise to his feet the hound by Loda’s side began to grumble slowly building up to an angry growl. Malius not one to ignore the instincts of any animal had his bow up and an arrow nocked within an eye blink.
A few moments later, a Sylvari man came walking around a corner of the inn. Gothard barked at him loudly, but the man did not stop. He was dressed as a warrior, and carried a long sword and wooden shield. His clothes were covered by a coating of fur, most likely wolven. His face was white and stern, with long blonde hair flowing from under his helmet. He called out to them from a few yards away.
“There is something loose in the village. A big lizard or something. It has killed most everybody. But I just saw it. It had an open chance to catch your friend, but for some reason it didn’t touch him. I want to know why.”
“That may be stranger but first who are you and from whence do you come here.”
The bow yet pointed the man’s way Malius was ready to fire if he felt at any time the man was an enemy.....

Subject: Ok just I realized Brom that Sui is right
That your post concerning Croaker and the others with him is wrong as far as going to the Red Lantern. As I was writing my post something about the meet kept nagging at me so I went back and reread the posts.
The problem here is that the suggestion of meeting at the Red Lantern was Spiff's idea and there is no way that Croaker would have gone there to meet him as stated in your post. To be honest he would still be waiting in the club for a call from Jack as to what the new target was to get the data files on the new drug. As far as Croaker knows Sui is on his own and out of the loop considering Spiff's outburst and Jack's words to him at the med center.
Brom, Croaker and Jack will have to do some back posting before Croaker will agree to meet with Spiff at the Red Lantern.

With the coming of this new day Highnar found himself refreshed and ready for a good breakfast. Once seated at the same downstairs table as from the night before the dwarf found that breakfast here in this town consisted of porridge, fresh bread, cheese, slabs of thick bacon, and hard boiled eggs. With a large mug of ale to hand he began to eat and as the rest of the group joined him he greeted all warmly.
Then with the full group finally together he felt the time was right to bring up the subject of the items found.
“So my friends I be think’in it ist a good time to once again be looking over them items we’vin finding in our battles. What say ye all?”
With that spoken and a four stacked bacon egg cheese sandwich to mouth he awaited their replies.....

I start school this coming Monday and will be going 4 days a week Mon-Thur. As of right now I see no problem with being able to still post in CP but if things change Brom I will give you a head's up.
As CP is at the top of my favorite game list even if I have to drop a game or two only as a last resort would I drop this game.
Also Sui I will post for Croaker sometime tommorrow so as not to make you wait too long .
EDIT:OK Long day and I did not get to post in the game thread but I am in the midst of writing it now and will have it up hopefully sometime tommorrow.
