Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Maybe
However with Wolf mostly dealing with saving the ship he may not have really seen it and had it register. I need to know as I plan to answer your post in part of my post but can only do so if he did see it.

Did Wolf at any time see Jessica with the case in her hands during the whole time from space to landing to heading off with John??

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Ody beat me too it.
To go with Ody could our two shuttles have the power to lift the Rocinante and move her a mile to the Atmo Processor?
As for getting the liner passengers to work for us that's easy. See we just tell them about the merc's and what's coming and those that don't help get left behind to possibly die when we leave and those that do help get a flight out. Simple.
Wolf has no love for any of the liner passengers just the Rocinante crew and if it means we leave them all behind to die so be it.
Sorry Teller

Ok gotta come up with a new plan .
Can you give us a rundown on the passengers involved in the fight like electric cane guy and his two bodyguards. Any other usable passengers other then them?? I mean any others who could possibly help us in the fight that's most likely coming.

I was not worried about doors Roger that was the least of my worries.
Ok so non-movable gotcha. I guess then question B, what did the dead Merc's give us in terms of weapons, ammo, and gear.?

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Damn :(
Ok so no hover does her landing struts have wheels?? I'm looking to suggest we try to move her away from where she presently is into the Atmo Processor for a number of reasons I'll put in my post. However my original idea called for her to be at least able to hover. Is there any way to move her?

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Ok put it this way
Can she hover and possibly move while doing so? Not fly, even if she can't move can she at least just get off the ground far enough to hover. That's really what I need to know. I may just have a creative idea
Also can you give us a rundown of what weapons, ammo and any useful gear they wear carrying please.

Question not sure if I already asked this been a long week. But is the ship movable at all, like on thrusters if she still has power or wheels maybe??
Also just to let everyone know I passed the written test with a 94 so once I get my card I'm CHL qualified

Topic: Treasure Seekers Subject: It's only gold people LOL
As Crow continued to stand watch at the top of the stairs, cocked bow in hand, he listened to the discussions below. The Elf Ranger could not help but smile at the arguing of some of the party on how much gold to take, the best type of coin to take, and if to use bags (paper) or chests (plastic). What did it really matter in the end with a hot enough furnace the type of gold coin would not matter as each could be melted into new coins or even solid bars.
However for now he had more important things to worry about then gold and that was staying alive. Though most of the rest of the party were more then happy to take this abundance of gold back to the ship, Crow could not get Elyra’s warning of this possibly being the horde of a dragon out of his mind. He knew where his place would be upon leaving this cave, at the point of the party leading them all back to the ship. He just hoped it would be a safe return but held little faith in that............

Crow will keep the party covered until everyone is out of this cave. Once everyone is out I'll lead them back to the ship without retracing our route in to minimize any traps having been set behind us.
I will have a post up hopefully by Sat nite to this effect. I've been really busy this week with a lot of different time consuming projects

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: It's all good
Roger you are one of my closet friends on the Inn and in RL so I never consider your questions an invasion of my privacy.
It's the way life is for me and after a life saving brain surgery and metal shoulders I'm still alive and at least now for the most part I know what my future holds. I have a steady income that I'll never lose. I have better health care then I ever did before this. I'm finally at peace with what I have endured the last 10+ years as I know what I need to do to be happy. The Inn and the people on it I call friend will always be a big part of that
I'm not the same angry Tann I was for 3-4 years on the Inn that caused so many people to think me a troublemaker .
I'm just me, like me or not, I don't force anybody to be my friend. However those that do take the time to get to know me, and understand the hardship that I have been through. To become my friend will find me as faithful and loyal as a dog raised from a puppy and treated the best.

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Disabled
Well seeing as I am no longer strong enough thanks to the metal shoulders to throw a dart with my main arm the right. Or much less a punch or anything physical to defend myself. Getting a concealed permit was the only way I knew to defend myself and my Mother.
I never plan to draw it and there are many places I cannot wear it. But like I said about the armor I'd rather have some way to defend myself as needed then get held up or in one of the many shootings you hear about nowadays and become a victim.
It's pretty simple I guess I am disabled, I am overweight, and I can no longer defend myself physically.

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Archangel is correct
CHL does indeed stand for Concealed Handgun License and during my refresher course the instructor ran me through the firing sequence for the CHL and scored me without telling me till it was over. It helped my score for sure as it was just I and the instructor and I was quite relaxed.
The course is normally 10 hours long but after the written test as I have already completed the firing range portion I’ll get to leave a few hours early. Also no need to fear I am very familiar with handguns and such and would never shoot anyone without a good reason say like the armor is sold or does not fit . Now THAT could be in my mind a good reason.

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Well if that's the case
How come the Merc's have them and the Alliance has not gone after them??
As for hiding them with Wyatt's ok we could do the same thing like Ash did with his 'guns' and hide them in the engine room. I'm sure with Ash's help and John's we could create a nice cubby hole for them.
Oh and just to brag I took the shooting range portion of my CHL course today and scored a 243 out of a possible 250 to easily pass as the lowest point total needed was 175. Now on Fri comes the 10 hour course and written test so wish me luck as that may be the hard part for me

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: I believe from past posts
We all hold a share of the ship or am I incorrect?
Never said we can't talk over the disposition of the armor but I think it would be better to keep it as we seem to be getting in a lot of firefights lately.
As I said above better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it.
And Van I did not consider your above statement in a bad light ok I understood what you were trying to get across and it's all good

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Armor
Well Wolf is going to keep one set no matter what the blood and brains can be cleaned out. Considering he most likely has seen worse in his time in prison he has no problem with doing so. Even if the suit does not fit him at this time since it is not alliance issue he will figure something out.
I have always been of the thinking it's better to have something and never need it then to need that something and not have it

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Without a doubt
That's a must I'm not putting Dillon or his men in lock-up with armor. They are going in with whatever clothes they have on underneath. Never know if the armor has hidden compartments holding weapons. Roger I'll get more passengers to help get all the 'Marshalls' to the ship then Ash and I will strip off the armor and lock them up.
All are secured of course in case they wake up.

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: To possibly clarify
Is there enough space to temporally move the passengers indoors at the Atmos plant. Second is there a big enough area if we could do so to hide the ship there??
As for what's coming, your right we have no clue other then a bunch of somebodies in an ASREV want to possibly kill us. So in my book being out gunned as we are, trying to hide to me is a good plan

about housing the people there. They would be out of the elements and have better shelter. However maybe we go one step farther and if possible move the Rocinante herself there. Once there we cover her with a tarp covered in debries and make it seem as if we left.
Is that a viable option Roger?

Your last post directed at Crow gave me a good laugh as your wording brought back memories of a good friend, well ex-friend really. Who used to interact with many of my characters that same way in the many games we played on the Inn and in RL.
So again thank you
