Provides light in the darkness (eaten by Demonic Bear in Exaulted Tower)
 
Also with my new armor whats my new AC its still listed as 19 based on my old armor.

Topic: D&D 4.0 Discussion
Subject: 2nd Edition
If it said Advanced Dungeon & Dragons then it was almost certainly 2nd Edition as that was the first Edition to have Advanced in the title.
1st Edition was known as Basic Dungeon & Dragons or just Dungeon & Dragons while Third Edition as far as I remember did not use the Advanced either.
As for 3.5 I as a DM HATE that system and only play in one game here run in that format. And that only because I do not need to know the rules to role play online so I have never looked at a book in that line so I would not know anything on that.

As the group of travelers moved away from the mist clear to all of them, though the mist did thin, that whatever it truly was it seemed in some way to sense this and continued to move towards them.
Arms of the mist touched the trees around the path. The black of the bark seemed to absorb the foul vapor and turned red within seconds. Bushes too got drenched in the fog and turned color before the companions’ eyes.
It was here that Loda, clearly determined to be rid of it did act. From her hands formed a ball of bright fire. Carefully she directed it into the mist, hoping to evaporate it, like the sun chases away the morning fog.
The ball of fire went in, as the group backed up even more. For a moment the mist seemed to turn on itself, as it engulfed the ball eagerly. It started to swirl around the fire, trying to choke it down. A hard battle of matter was fought, but it was buying the companions at least some more time, for the mist had stopped growing.
Then the ball of fire exploded, and the eruption of fire spread all over the mist. A cloud of heat passed over the companions, and they had to hold themselves to not be thrown over by the pressure of the air and the heat of blast. Malius himself was cast from his horse as it pranced against the impact.
Though the blast had scorched their skins, it was brief, and when they looked again, the mist was gone, and the path had been cleared. Malius looked on the trees in the area of the blast with sadness for they and any creature in them had surely paid a price. With a silent prayer to the tree’s and living things within them he followed the rest away.
Within a few hours the they had made good time and as they came over a small rise before them they saw an Elvin city, which Malius knew to be that of Istalindir.
Relaying its name to the rest of the companions he led them down the rise to the city’s front gate.
The first houses they passed were empty, deserted by their inhabitants yet in the distance they could see the fine architecture of towers and temples and clearly many other important buildings. But all these were sheltered behind a make shift wall of thorny bushes, planks of wood and other materials that had been taken from houses and carts that had no use now. The road was blocked by a group of six guards that were armored in breastplates and chain, and carried longswords and shields. One of them stepped forward and held up his hand in salute
“Welcome heroes. Word has reached us of your deeds at the Exalted Tower. We are honored to have you as our guests.”

(After the guards reply, if in Elvin Malice will turn to the rest and relay it to them.)

(once he gains this information)
With a destination set the party moved forward and soon found themselves at the place the guard had named. A time to rest, eat and resupply was at hand.
(OOC: OK Al after a good meal Malice will seek out the person he asked about, if he/she exists and travel there. Any conversation between the two of them we can handle in PM or email like we did the tower fight. After this encounter he will stop to resupply rations, buy new arrows, and have his horse checked to see if it needs to be rehoofed and such. Basically anything needed that I may have missed.)

Ta’Anor seething inside as to what had been done to the poor lightkeeper and his family wanted nothing more then to seek out these ‘Pirates” and show them the error of their ways.
“Come Ena let us not sit here on our hands and do nothing. Let us go to them and show them the sentence served to murderers of the innocent. Val, Varuna what say the two of you, do we move on or do we seek justice.”
Turning to Ena he looked to her as their leader as to the parties’ next move. Already knowing his actions if her answer was in the negative he only hoped that she would agree with his desire to act.....

You may have somehow marked emails from him as trash and when he sends you a Email it may go to your bulk mail instead of your in box.
Do you check your bulk mail or trash folder at all before you empty them??

To clarify your not getting any emails from Brom, but are you getting emails from other people??
I see your email is one from the Inn so lets try this I will send you an email and let me know if you get it in a day or so.
If not then it could be something to do with the Inn email and then its an Olan thingi to solve

Sorry Grugg the oddity has an explanation .
The Game those 21 posts belonged to was last posted to in I believe Feb of last year so I deleted it.
Though the game thread is gone the post count for that 'section' remains as do the post counts for any game thread deleted from any 'section' as the posts no matter what the game add up to that 'sections' total.
This also applies to the non-game area's of the forums.

He most likely just forget that he, like I, have restricted our games as to who can post in them as the ability to do that for DM's is relatively new.
The only reason I was able to add you guys was being a Mod.

No my greeting and questions to the guards will not be a major part of my post.
What I meant about posting by Friday was that at the moment I have some RL Appts to take care of and other games to post in other then Chakran. I just wanted to let you know that I WOULD be posting this week before Sat Morn .
No my post will cover from start to end all my actions in the town and on that note per my character sheet I do not know how much money I actually have to spend as you never told me when you created the character as a 3rd Edition one.

Subject: Sorry about no post last week, busy Holiday
With the appearance of the frog like boar Malius bow was to hand and he was reading an arrow to fire. But as fast as the creature had appeared it once again leaped away leaving in its place a cloud of reddish mist.
“Everyone back, we know not what this mist is or mayhap what poison it carries”
Moving backwards Malius did not take his eyes off the approaching mist watching to see if it had a possible life of its own. Hoping the rest of the party would do the same and retreat the Ranger, bow in hand, arrow knocked did not take his eyes off the mist to check on them.
After having seen the changes, and the speed of those changes, in the maggot at the tower the Syl was in no mind to disregard anything as strange as the mist before them.
(OOC: Ok though a few people have talked about going through the mist in the Q/A since no one posted as such I did not add those actions to this post.
On a side note I can‘t seem to remember are we on horseback or walking thanks)

As Highnar and the rest surveyed the carnage of the battle before them as they prepared to get moving to the town once more there preparations were interrupted by the appearance of a number of goblins bursting from the forests edge, and right behind them hot on their heels eight riders. With lances and swords at hand the riders made short work of the Goblins.
With the goblins dead here it was that leader of the Riders, a well bodied female warrior wearing a finely made suit of Dwarven half plate and chain, drew up to them.
"What happened here?" She asked in a haughty tone as she looked about at the field littered with dead, the two summoned bears returning into the forest and the two Celestial hounds searching out the unconscious and ending their lives. Her tone of voice not to the dwarf’s liking he was the first to step forward to ‘greet” her.
“Can ya not see what it be looking like lass, it be a battlefield of course and we be the victor’s. Now who ye be and what is your purpose other then cleaning up our leftovers.”.....

I looked at the characters on the front page and was wondering about a few things .
First Jack and Piper are listed as Media, I thought he was a Fixer/Minor Mob boss and Piper something other then a media.
Second is Logan still in as Bulls Eye as he is still listed as such.
And last with Suicidolt's last post is the character of Preacher in or out of the game??
