Topic: Almost there! Subject: Almost there!
Lyra put a strip in my inbox last night, so all that needs to be done is the lettering, and we'll have a live comic once more!

Lyra got her new pen for her wacom, but that was apparently not the issue - the tablet itself is dead. It is an expensive one, too, not something that she can just replace easily.
She sending it off for repairs, and in the meantime, borrowing a "cheap" (her words, not mine) tablet to get the comic done, but this means that we're going to be delayed again.
Sigh.

I'm enjoying the wacom.Star Wars jokes so much that I'm smiting you all.
Actually, I do enjoy them.
But I'm still smiting you.

Port wacom cells? That's just silly. Silly, I tell you. I'll have no more of this nonsense.
And now, for something completely different...

If you were expecting a new strip today (like me), you've probably noticed that we do not have one.
Lucky us, Lyra's wacom died last week, putting us behind schedule before the first new strip was even published.
A new one was ordered, so we should have a comic soon.
Bleh.

So you tease us with a title suggesting that you are returning to activity, even though you are not? For shame!
Hmph. Well, I guess that congratulations are still in order.

Topic: Spell Swap Shop Subject: well
Back in the day, if someone wanted to play a caster in my games, they had to create a new spell. It served two purposes - first, it showed me if they had the creativity needed to be a caster, and second, it gave me instant homebrew material for my campaign world.
I'll see if I can dig some up for ya.

Topic: Comic uncertainty Subject: change is life
I hate to see change, as well - I appreciate all Tiana has done, and have really enjoyed her art. However, Loaded Dice has yet to generate one cent of revenue, and that isn't likely to change anytime soon. she's picked up more paying projects, and simply does not have the time right now. I wish her the best of luck.
I *think* that I have a new artist lined up. We're ironing out details now, but I am quite excited.

Topic: Comic uncertainty Subject: update
Tiana has elected to discontinue her relationship with Loaded Dice. I wish her all the best in her continued pursuits.
In the meantime, I am speaking with a couple of other artists as potential replacements. Hopefully, we'll have someone locked up soon for the position.

Topic: Comic uncertainty Subject: Comic uncertainty
As you probably know, my life has been in chaos, which has badly hurt Loaded Dice.
I am ready to start publishing the strip again, but it appears that Tiana may have committed herself to enough other projects to make the comic unfeasible for her at this time.
She's asked me to give her a bit of time to figure things out, which I gladly will do, but I am getting the feeling that I will probably have to find a new artist (something that I do NOT want to do).
Just thought I'd let you all know that, once way or another, Loaded Dice WILL be back.

I hate to step away, but I haven't been giving the site the attention it deserves. Alacrity has always been there, and has kept things running through thick and thin.
Once he gets over this power madness, things will level out, and the Inn will grow in a new, prosperous direction.
POWER MADNESS! I'd ban you but I still need the codes. Alacrity

I'll try Chrome. I really should install it, anyway - for testing, if nothing else.

What broswer/OS are you using, Almerin? I've tested in IE and FF, on XP and on Win7. You're saying that when you mouse over the numbers, they disappear?

You know, I think that I should start a "Spam" forum so that members of the site (maybe set a minimum post threshhold) can share their side projects and interesting links with the rest of the Inn - and those that don't want to click on said links can simply avoid the area entirely. Our policy has always been to quell mass link posting, but the reason was to prevent bona fide spammers - I personally enjoy seeing the various things that our membership is involved in.
Yep, that is my segueway into some spam of my own.
As some of you know, my wife has been quite interested in photography for a long time, and has even had a couple of small paying shoots. Well, we've finally started a website for her. Check it out here: Catching Life's Moments Photography.
Understand, I'm just wanting you guys to see the site; I don't think this is a very effective spot to advertise a local photographer.
Anyway, let me know what you think.
