Step with me behind the curtain.
Actually, this strip was orginally supposed to end with Tim's joke about Aranion doing a nice job as a meat shield. However, we had a blank panel spot, so we ended up improvising and going back to our formula of angry Brad (I couldn't figure out anything else that just didn't feel forced).
As a matter of fact, none of the other completed strips feature this type of ending. I'm sure that we'll see it again, but it may be a while.

Do you enjoy the Red Dragon Inn, or any of the content we have?
If you do, please help us to promote it!
The bottom of all article pages (Audalis, DM's Croner, Player's Guild, Alacrity's Maghic Items, and all areas of the Archives) have a series of small icons that allow you to bookmark the page with Digg, Del.icio.us, Reddit, and other social networks.
These icons also exist on both webcomics. Loaded Dice has a voting button - you may click it once per day. The main website also has a voting mechanism on the front page of the site.
Naturally, you may of course post links to the site wherever such things are allowed - but please do not spam.
Have other ideas? Please share them with the community!
Our membership and traffic have grown, but honestly, the forums still aren't at the level they once enjoyed. I'd like to see our community regain the bustling status of old.
Your help in this endeavor would be much appreciated.

I naturally agree that placing the blame on Grugg is the logical thing to do.

I know that folks usually want to read left to right, *unless* the bubbles are stacked on top of one another. This panel was just tough to work with - it was one of our very first tries at lots of conversation going on around the table, and the logical flow of the conversation required speech from people sitting at odd positions to one another.
In later strips, we move to more of a "multiple panels with individual closeups" method to help with this.
Call this growing pains or something.

I'm not really happy with the bubbles on that panel, either. I'm having a tough time making all four work on that space.
It's possible that we may need to look into splitting it into two panels, I'm not sure.

At the risk of sounding like a past Innmate who liked to get into political debates, I don't view Reagan as a bad thing.
But yeah, pretty much everything is Grugg's fault.

Welcome to the Inn, Reddrake! Good to meet you, and thanks for sharing your comments!
I agree, btw. I think that players often have a tough time handling situations as their character would, not as they personally would.
