Topic: Loaded Dice: Strip #4 Subject: my hands are too heavy!
I agree @ heavy handed, at least to a point. It gets better... the narrator pretty much vanishes soon.

Yeah, I have this in the works. I need to add several links - a bio page, probably an FAQ, maybe one or two more.

Topic: Loaded Dice: Strip #3 Subject: for those that care
We're up to almost 2100 total page views among the various strips since launch, with almost 1000 for strip #1 alone.
Of course, big strips get many, many times that per strip per day, but it's not at all a bad start.

Back on topic...
Nice to see less dodging is necessary. I've seen nine and ten member at a time much more regularly, now.
Woot!

So very gratifying to see that people are enjoying the comic!
I'm glad that you liked the newest version, but honestly, I cannot claim "genius" or any such title. this particular strip basically catalogs a real conversation that happened during a session I was DMing.
Of course, variants of the same conversation often happen during my games - which is why this strip was made.

Guest week? We've only been up a little over a week, and you already want guest strips?
Don't worry, that day will come.
Glad you are enjoying it.

Check it out - my script ran correctly! I did not manually post this thread... the site did it FOR me! ooOOOoooOOOO!!!
Hehe, glad you like it, Al. Sure, script ideas are always welcomed. Best way is to just email them to me. Format isn't a huge deal - as you may have noticed, the number of panels per strip is variable. Typically, the gag should probably take at least four panels, but if it's a one-off type joke, it could be almost anything... there are bound to be days where we will be happy to just have something to post.

Topic: RDINN Feature Updates/ Suggestions/ Bugs Subject: a classifieds area?
Not at all a bad idea. I may look into adding this.
Update: I have removed the old, slow Digg boxes and in their place added a small collection of icons to allow yuo to quickly submit a page from the Inn to one of the content sharing sites out there (digg, delicious, reddit, etc). It wasn't worth the slow page load to see how many (few!) Diggs a page had.
If you use any of these services, please consider submitting Inn content to them!

Topic: Loaded Dice: Strip #2 Subject: yup
If you like the comic, Clicking on the "Digg" box is a nice way to help. Of course, you have to be a Digg member (free) to do that.
Other alternatives? Send a link to others who might enjoy it. Post links to the comic in places where such posts are allowed (please do not spam).
And so forth.

Topic: Loaded Dice: Strip #2 Subject: more coming!
The artist has informed me that #13 is almost ready. Also, I have fixed my script, so it shoudl automatically post a new thread here anytime a new strip is up.
It goes without saying that any and all word of mouth advertising that you might like to do would be greatly appreciated.

True, only one strip. In my opinion, they get better as they go.
There are eleven more completed and ready right now, which will take us through the next five and a half weeks. Obciously, the plan is to keep doing them BEFORE the are due.
We shall see.

Topic: completely off topic Subject: update
I have now set up a routine that, at the end of the draft, has the system go and create lineups for each level or your organization (for both righty and lefty pitchers).
Basically, the system tries to decide who the best overall player on your roster is for each position, accounting for whether the lineup is against a righty or lefty pitcher. Now that it has filled the positions, it then uses tried and true baseball wisdom to set the lineup (fast, contact hitter in the leadoff role, best hitter on the team bats third, best pure power guy bats fourth, etc).
While you are certainly free to edit these as you wish, it should be nice to have some sort of default to fall back on.

Well handled. If you have a problem with someone, discuss it via PM. If it's game related, get your GM involved. A general rant is not the snwer.
