Was hit this weekend but a wicked headcold that forced me take it easy and my lovely wife to nurse me back to health. We should get back to posting soon.

That being said, I am also procrasinating as the next entry by me is a journal and I need to write out the journal entries. So I need to get off butt and write.

As to a Sucker Punch RPG - I could use the cortex rules for that, but I have too many games on the go right now. Maybe after Rautenberg ends.

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Q&A
Subject: End of D&D

After some long thought and comtemplation I have decided to stop playing D&D. Let's face it, the game is getting old, characters are too hard to create and I don't have time to build the adventures. After all, I have been wasting your time and mine now for 20+ years, it just isn't doing it for me anymore. Swords, Armour, Arrows - is this really what we go to in our fantasies?

So instead of the D&D I will be switching to a system based on Sucker Punch the Movie. You will now play sword wielding, gun-toting teenage girls in randomized fantasy settings. Stats are simplified to:

BUST - Bigger is better, helps your defensive bonus
HASS- Hip and ass, helps movement, and leaps
WAIST- Smaller helps with dodge
POUT- The pout is a lethal attack bonus
%S/C- Percent skin to clothing ratio helps with distraction, attack and defense
OUTF - Theme of outfit EX: schoolgirl, nurse, avator, dominatrix.

So choose a good alluring name, stack up a character and we will start in our next game with ninja zombie stewardesses in a armaggeddoon setting.

Thanks,
Roger

I see no reason why Wolf wouldn't be briefed in on the whole of what is happening and happened. Wyatt and Willow have no reason to keep it a secret.

BTW - Brigit is not married to JW, she is engaged. Minor point but I thought I should clarify. What are you looking for Bro? Wyatt has had dealing with JW in the game. JW paid you from his own pocket when it seemed like you were being jerked around. (I know the game has been going awhile so details can get blurred)

The wound can be a through and through without hitting a major artery. 6 wounds out of 14 is a serious wound, but certainly not life threatening. Throw a bandage on him and hit him with enough morphine and he'll be up and at them in no time.

Subject: And one more thing .....

Saw Sucker Punch last night. I really enjoyed the movie immensely - lots of action and special effects. It is a very dark movie, and violent and has no intention of being otherwise. It is not a movie that makes you feel good, happy and content, but rather makes you want to fight for all that you hold dear. I'd recommend it, but you will be unprepared.

The Doc would do that for you, but he'll want to fill you in on what's happen while you've been out. I was gonna post it after you did yours but here is the gist:

"Things are bad in town Son, real bad. John Blake is dead, JW was wounded, and then things went to hell in a handbasket fast. Bailey is missing since this morning as well. Seems that Sheriff Luke has found himself some deputies to do some of his dirty work, four real mean pieces of work and they killed a bunch of the Tong and set fire to their temple. Cleaning up the town they call it - makes me wish those purple bellies were still in the sky. Never thought I'd be saying that. Everyone is so scared now that people are hiding in their homes and hoping that they ain't noticed.

"Now Brigitte had a talk with Sheriff this afternoon alone in the jailhouse and I haven't seen either one since. She been asking about your health alot but I've made you sound worst off than you are. Don't know why, but I just feel like it is best that she don't know everything I reckon."

"Sure I can get you stuff if they ain't too heavy but if I go walking around with a cannon on my back they be questions so clue me in on what you need and whether I need to hook up my cart."

There is one hole in the radiator and one severed hose. I am not looking for you to come up with a length discourse on how you are gonna fix it. (Luke looks at the engine. "Damn. get me anything and everything that looks like a tool or scrap metal. Now! Lady, lose the hose because I might need them.") Remember you have 6 plot points so if you want to boast your skill in repair, let me know.

Lots of room under the bridge. See picture I posted.

You are closer to the castle than the village. If the car is dead, then it will be a very long hike. Speaking of the car, Luke does have land vechicle repair so he can make an attempt to assess and fix. There may be some tools in the guardhouse or the truck and there is alwayd improvision.

How long can a car run without a radiator? I'm not mechanically inclined.

My post was a bit vague so I will try to explain what happened. My apologies for this sometimes I get so behind that I rush my posts and don't re-read them.

Asher was facing Luke (Luke to the North). Luke drew on the Townfolks (Coming from the North East) and at that moment someone else shot Asher three times in the back. Not Luke, but a mysterious someone else.

Now they were on the main street at the time but it was dark. Whoever shot the Kid would have been down the street
(South of Asher).

On the map, this is outside of #20 (Lawrence Saloon).

You are in the same time zone and sync'd up now. Feel free to back post the planning but please make sure I know your plan. Ash will take a half hour to work around to normal body control and you can be in atmo in less than two hours. Waves are possible and even radio with a EASY boast.

Getting close to the end here and I am already to set up the next adventure.

Regina, Frisco, Day Seven, 10:35 pm Planet Time

“Folks, stay back, it’s safer there! Luke’s handled this.” Asher called out moving forward a step in hopes to make Luke see reason but the lawman had his gun clearing leather. Ash would have to do something quick or else ...

BLAM BLAM BLAM

Asher pitched forward when the first shot hit him and tried to draw and turn but then the second and third bullet ripped though his body and his legs gave out under him. He tried to stop himself, but his mind seem to lose its ability to command his body and he fell onto the ground.

Someone shot me! In the back!

Darkness fills the young man's eyes. He can hear screaming and the sound of more gun fire. Dimly he sees John Blake gunned down before he loses grip on his consciousness and the darkness takes him.

Rocinante, Day Nine 10 pm Ship Time/Planet Time Sync

Close enough to the planet for a long range scan but not so much to ping the spaceport satellites, Sam let everyone know that they were within planet-side in an hour or two. It took a lot of fuel, they'd need to fuel up again to go anywhere soon, but they were with atmo in a couple of hours.

No wave from the planet in a long time too. Where was Asher and why wasn't he keeping his promise to keep in touch. Everyone who knew the kid was worried, especially Ma.

The blockade was gone. Not a warship in the black around Regina, just the usual port authority pingers and beepers do their orbit dance of monotony. Bridget was a woman of her word apparently.

So now what?

Regina, Frisco, Day Nine 9;30 pm Planet Time

Asher awoke and tried to move his arms. There were tubes in his arm and his vision was blurred. Somewhere, so device or machine was making a rhythmic beep noise over and over again.

"Whoa there son. I spent a long time putting you back together, don't go messing with my work yet." a voice said in a matter of fact tone. It was familiar but his groggy mind couldn't pull a name out of the mush that was his mind. Ash tries to reach for his guns.

"They ain't there son and you don't want to shot me." the voice said, "But all your effects are safe. Most people around here don't mess with the doc if they know what's good for them. You were shot three times in the back, by someone who was pretty good at grouping his shots but not good enough to make saving you impossible. Now you have been out a spell so don't be putting on the pants too fast now. Your time will come and I think your friends will be here soon. You gonna need some friends son."

Asher thought back. Doc? Doc McGuire? He was the man who patched up Sam after the bank job. He was in the Doctor's operating room. Judging by the bandages on his chest, he owed the good Doc his life.

Brutal took off with gun in hand running as fast as his legs would take him. McGuiness drew his scope across to where the guard was hiding behind the guardhouse. This was a wooden structure, not built with any thought of defence or lasting long. So the sniper fired once at where he thought the guard would be and then again lower and to his left, which was where he'd figure the guard would duck down. Brutal turned the corner around the guardhouse and opened up without hesitation, knowing the Nazi might be ready for him, The guard was waiting but the cover fire had forced him down and the mud slowed him down. Brutal made sure it was the last mistake the German would make.

The prone guard tried to shift himself backward for more cover, firing twice but hitting nothing but the already very damaged radiator of the car. Luke and Doc aimed and fired back. The Nazi cried out once and twitched violently and then moved no more as blood pooled around his body.

Brutal came around the house again and quickly checked inside to see if anyone was lurking inside - no one. A small single room with a small wood burning stove, a table, a log book and some radio equipment which took the worse of McGuiness' shots. The roar of the waterfalls was the only sound left to hear in this remote place.
