Yes, you did take the south portal out of the entrance room the first time which led to the Wine Cellar.

Ody - How are you finding 13th age? I have looked at that one a few times.

I will be heading up to my local game shop this morning to see if they have the Starter Kit.

This is a pre-done module for the new Firefly RPG system. It is designed for Cortex Plus which I am not switching to, but it is a good setup.

In Rocinante, the next campaign "Who Mourns for Adonis" will be the first that is completely my own design. If it works well, I may write it up.

The document has some tables that I will have to set up to post which is probably why I have not done that yet. I have not done tables in awhile. I will send you a word doc if wish.

I have used a mana based system for magic for years in D&D games. Apparently I have never posted the mana rules in entirety on the Inn, I thought I had but I have not. I guess that is another project on my to-do list.

Subject: sounds like a plan

I am sure that every Captain in history has wished that he could make a plan based on all the facts and have it come to fruition. In reality, things never work out that well.

Don't let the "fear" of not knowing make you afraid to try things. One of the reasons I chose this module is that it is got so many plot twists and mno real direct solution as to how the crew will resolve them.

Wembley looks at the cabinet and sees the liquor they had "borrowed" before was indeed still missing and there were still skeletons in the closet. There was no sign of the dead undead mice but the walking silver housecleaner probably took care of that.

Subject: resting again?

You rested in the dining room, then went to the Cellar, next the Throne room and back to the Entrance room. No one is wounded and maybe two hours has passed. Now if you want to stop and talk about things around the fire and see what you can figure out, that is great but there is no "need" to rest.

When you first came into this room you were moving down a corridor and you found yourself in this room. At the time, it seemed natural to assume you came from the north portal but now you are not so sure. The portals have a different feel to them than your original entrance.

No one in the party suddenly felt hungry if that is what you meant. The magic food just can't be transported out of the dinning room. Think of it like a terminator rule. Can't travel in time unless bound by flesh (or liquid metal that looks like flesh).

Ivan is still with you but he has been less than accurate on which doorway leads to what room before. You might want to think twice about the information and its source. No good has ever come from "let's follow the dope smoking talking cat"

Crow attempts to get the Cidals off the throne as they slap the buttons and each other. The skulls go up and down bursting into flames and calling out their warning. The pole goes up and down and the beholders return to fly around while the giant one says the exact same lines over again.

They are just illusions. No real threat to anyone in the room except ivan who freaks out every time they appear. “that is just uncool man! Stop it!”

“Wembley check this room quickly for anything we can use. Malrinn, Dudley, Gamard guard the portal behind the throne we‘ll leave that way. Alôndas up here with me to help cover the room with your magic and my bow as the rogue does his thing.” Crow says curtly, fed up with Wizard tricks and shadowy rooms.

The rogue finds nothing in the room except the obvious. No secret doors or traps reveal themselves.

The party gathers itself and goes through the portal behind the throne. They pass through hthe darkness to find themselves ...

In the same room that you first entered upon the island. You enter through the north doorway to the dark green room. On the walls are gold fabric wall hangings and paintings of wilderness landscapes. A watermelon shaped metal object is moving back and forth across the floor in a regular pattern. It has two stubby legs and feet but no head or arms. Against one wall is a simple oak table next to a large corner cabinet of dull metal. On the oak table is what appears to be a wooden cage (for a small animal perhaps?) smashed to pieces. In the other corner is a wooden closet door. A mirror on the opposite wall has a very heavy filigreed frame of unfamiliar metals. Two comfortable sofas and two chairs are arranged in front of a fireplace which glows with a fire and gives off a lovely warmth.
