Subject: Where did the week go?

This week sorta flew by. I kept meaning to update the game, as I wrote the post once already before the computer gods to it as a sacrifice.

Anyway - Saturday I will finish the post I began and get us going. Some of you moved a bit too far in your posts and put yourself back at the ship. There are two events that have to happen before Wyatt and Willow reach the ship.

Don't worry, none of them involve death, people threatening death or ships blowing up.

We need to organize a protest where thousands of fans gather in their parking lot, blocking the exits, Then we sit down and all play 2e until we are forcibly removed by the trolls (police).

I'm a little concerned about the lack of shooters we have on this crew. Male companion cook is all nice but this Captain would like to see a public relations man that can handle an assault rifle or two. Just in case the pirates in the black don't eat cake.

What do you think Skari-Dono? Are we under prepared here?

The Darkness Union struck a deal in 01 BC, against the Sun oppression, allowing the darkness free reign on the earth at particular times, based on situation, zones and seasonal considerations. This was challenged later on by the Day Light Savings conspiracy, but has since been raitified.

The Coalition Lobby of the Raisin and Prune Developers formed a massive movement against the naming of dried products without their consent. The Apple and Apricot Dryers Union decide dto go without the specialized naming to avoid having to pay the outragious fees the Coalition was charging. This lead to the Great Dryer Lock Out of 57 and the Fruity Oats Massacre in 62. The violence ended in 65 when gov't passed the "no more dried fruit names" law, banning their creation.

Subject: Asher's Part

The young lady smiled sweetly at Asher, and the Kid could feel his cheeks warm. “Thank you, sir,” she started. “For being so obliging. Truth is, I best be… AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!”

The young woman’s screaming caught Asher completely off guard, causing him to place his hands on his pistols as he spun around to see what the girl was screaming about.

…and there stood Ma.

He turned back to the young lady, “Ma’am, please… calm yourself. Screaming like that’s bound to bring over some unwanted company. And that’s something neither of us wants.”

He paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts, “Honestly, ma’am. You’d think you’d never seen the end of a shotgun before. That there’s Ma, and she won’t hurt ya none.” He smiled back at Trish. “She’s just coming to see who’s joining us for dinner tonight.” To Trish, he said, “I think she’s fine, Ma. No worries.”

“Ma makes a mean paste-loaf that’ll make ya think you were eating real beef.” He gave the girl a wink.

The girl stops her screaming and has the grace to look deeply embarrassed. “I am so sorry Ma’am. I just didn’t… I wasn’t expecting…I’m frightfully sorry. Please forgive me.”

Trish shoulders the shotgun and looks a warning at Asher. The kid knows the look well; she thinks the girl may be trouble and is gonna keep an eye on her. Fixing her hood again to hide her features, Trish moves back a few steps but doesn’t leave the cargo bay.

With the girl a bit calmer, Asher moved to get a little more information. “Now, Miss…I don’t think I got your name. What kind of trouble would ya be in?”

“I’m Linda. Linda Kovak. I need to get of this hunk of dirt something fierce. I have a little money saved and though it ain’t much I can work. I already work at the Lawrence Saloon so I can fix up meal and clean and the like. I just needs to be gone and soon.”

(assuming some sort of prompting as to why)

“You see, my father is aiming to marry me of to this man, a man who is a bit older than me and well, I don’t be wanting to be married just yet. I want to see the world, I want to go the core worlds and maybe one day become a famous singer and dancer maybe even an actress someday. If I do, I’d be more than willing to repay you but I need to get away from here.”

OOC: I am fighting a cold and I accidently deleted my post once tonight so I am gonna stop here and write tomorrow.

Think of it from Dalmer perspective.

I tossed this guy through a wall, rained debris down on his head, try to crush him with my demonic "kill from a distance" power and the guy isn't even fazed! What do I have to do to kill this guy? The only damage I have done is to his clothing!

I'm pretty sure you are okay bob. you don't cast spells freely like some....

However I have lost track over time so I need to check it or this will become much like a Western, where the guns never run out of bullets.

Red Wiz - gets you through the dungeon.

Olan - try hitting him some more. So far, your rolls have sucked. Actually that is my rolls but they have sucked.

I thought every knight dreams of the one on one combat with the big bad guy? I can change that if you want. I'll take a page from Lucas and send in the Clones.

You are two distractions and one final battle away from ending this campaign.
