For those of you still playing 2e, there is an alternate coming soon.

Myth and Magic

For a basic flip through, I like what I see and it keeps the old rule system going and viable to new players.

I found this in my travels and it sums the paranoia game wrold up quite nicely. I have been informed that you are playing "classic" style.

The World of Paranoia

Now I better run before the computer finds me.

We do not have any wallpapers or backgrounds. You sorta need a full time artist to do that and we haven't managed to convince any to work for free.

No intentions of blowing up anyone in a unstable mine shaft. But the shaft is 100 feet down at least so i wouldn;t recommend dropping the distance.

Paranoia. A game best played completely drunk. I will be interested how the online version plays out.

Do players make up their secret societies or are they told which ones they can join?

Hornsilver Mine - Topside, Regina, Frisco, Day Nine 12:15 am Planet Time

Ash takes the lead and heads down into the old shaft of the mine with Wolf close behind. There is no way to climb down the rebar fitted safety ladders with weapons in hand so they can only hope that someone is not waiting for them down below, or this will be a short trip and a long fall.

(I am assuming you are going quiet and with no lighting)

As the two are heading downwards, after about 40 feet they hear a voice. The shaft causes the echoes to bounce oddly and it seems like the voices are right next to you when you know they must be below. One voice is easily recognized, that of the Luke Pearson. The other one is one of the Mustard boys, and you know there is only one left.

“They went down boss?”

“Yep. Keep your voice down kid.”

“Why? We’s alone ain’t we?”

“We got company. I can smell Tong on the air. They are looking for me no doubt.”

“What you want me to do boss?”

“Set up here, good and tight. Make sure you got cover, don’t be cocky either. As soon as they come out, take the men out. The Captain first, because he’s the most dangerous.”

“And the ladies?”

“”We’ll deal with the later. At our leisure. I am going to hunt me some tong. Click twice on the comm. When you see the door open. And remember kid – this place ain’t stable so use the suppressors and no grenades nor flashbangs or you will be in a world of hurt and we won’t get anything out of here but a cold dark death.”

“Okay boss.”

Hornsilver Mine Hidden area, Regina, Frisco, Day Nine 12:15 am Planet Time

Brigit laughed dismissively, “Don’t be fooled by the trappings boys. This is all smoke and mirrors to keep us away. Someone went to great length to hide this treasure and people don’t do that for chump change.”

The red-haired school marm approached the closest coffin without hesitant and flipped the metal seal upwards. The lock released with a loud gasp of compressed air. “You two boys want to make yourself useful and lift this lid? Or do us women have to do all the heavy lifting?”

Hello,

I am running a 2e based D&D game called Audalis Dreaming. I have lost a player and would like to get someone to step into the game. it has not gotten far (they just left the bar)so there isn't a lot to learn.

The character is Bas , a female gladiator fighter. I would be open to:

1) Someone taking over the role completely
2) Switching the gender and abilities
3) Doing a swap with another character completely in a "woof" moment. (WOOF Bas is gone, WOOF Bob is in)

You don't have to be very familiar with 2e to play, I do most game mechanics. A passing familiarity with the Audalis setting would help.

Thanks.

So it was that the party gathered in the morning and after a short breakfast, headed out from Sundel back into the forest and lands for where you escaped not so long ago. You ride hard and swiftly across the open road while you have them. This area of Pardinal is not known for maintaining the King’s roadways well, so a smooth flat surface is best used to advantage.

By the afternoon, you reach the end of the roadway to a dirt path. The forest becomes thicker here as you well remember and it is here that Talon and Crow dismount and go on ahead on foot to seek out the tracks of the Cruniak. The dense forest stretches up high above you and the canopy of leaves and branches makes aerial recon by Wan next to useless. The time for speed has ended, and now is a time for caution. All of you loosen the weapons in sheath or quivers, preparing for any possibility.

Talon finds the first sign of something to track but it is not Cruniak, but boot prints and many of them. Crow finds them as well including one set which is twice the size of his feet and four time his weight ut the deep impression. The age of the tracks suggest they have been through here over a period of time so most likely not Adventurers on the same quest as you. Pardinal is known for its bandits. And if that is what these are, then they are directly in your path.

A star trek based game where two groups of players book the same holodeck at the same time. There is a malfunction and the games merge and they have to complete both quests to unlock the doors (and of course the safety measures are gone). The holodeck programs - A Dungeon Deep (a D&D RPG) and Zombies from Chicago (A Zombie attack 20th century RPG).

Go for it!
